Look Pawl, CUM the Crook left a very real tradition of corruption at BG that lasted well into 2004. You can't dispute that, Pawl.
Besides, it was their AD who was an OU or some shite. There was a connection, trust me Pawl.

Fair warning, do not spit your drink onto your monitor.

It's like a scene from an old Twilight Zone show or something.

A bizarre setting, in a strange town, doing strange things in creepy ways and seemingly unaware of their own absurdity.

Doomed to their auNeckery, for life, with no chance of escape.

Look Pawl, I was 13 in 2004. I sure as shite didn't live in Opelika but I sure as shite knew that the Auburn Tigers from Auburn, AL were the RIGHTFUL National Champions of the 2004 CFB season. Who cares if the poll was started by a 13 year old? It doesn't take an adult to recognize GREATNESS. Anybody who says different is just a HATER, Pawl.

Just staying true to their Auburn roots, nothing wrong with that.

Totally disagree. You should not claim what you did not earn

How can you say the 2004 Auburn Tiger football team didn't earn the right to call themselves National Football Champs of College Football??

Auburn did their job. They won every game on the slate and beat every team they faced. Not their fault that some stupid computer formula didn't place them in some meaningless arbitrary game.

You can't argue with results on the field, Pawl!

Yet another thread where auburn fans criticize and mock Bama fans for claiming 15 national titles, then claim far more ridiculous and unrecognized "national championships" for themselves.

If I were in your shoes, I would mock Bama claiming 1941...but then I would have enough sense not to start saying that auburn won in 2004, 1983, and any number of other years where you didn't win any major polls.

We won it that year DWI.

LSU still claims it was a PI call against them that year.

I wouldn't claim 1983, 1993 or 2004, but 2 of those are undefeated teams don't compare to 1941.

I still criticize and mock bammer. The powers that be at your school actually claim numerous championships 50 years after the fact and you have thousands or tens of thousands of fat, greasy rednecks who wear every form of clothing imaginable celebrating these fake arse, bogus titles

SC would have mopped the floor with Auburn the same way they did both years prior.

Makes a ton of sense. Yet, the one coach who coached against both teams that year and would know better than anyone who was better emphatically stated Auburn was the better team from 2004. That would be Frank Beamer in case you're wondering.

If you want to know why he felt that way. Well USC got VaTech early in the season while they were still trying to find their legs. In spite of that USC TRAILED VaTech half the damn game and into the third if memory serves me correctly. And, the only reason USC grabbed momentum and stole the victory was due to a bogus offensive PI call that went against VaTech(they were about to go up by two scores until the ref stole the game from them).

Meanwhile Auburn had to play VaTech after they ran off 8 straight victories and having won their conference on a hot streak. And yet in spite of that Auburn NEVER trailed VaTech. Auburn led VaTech by more points than they had been down by all year including USC. The game wasn't as close as it looked and Beamer knew it. He knew which team was better which is why he stated so after the game.

Not sure how you personally define "mopped the floor." They mopped the floor in 2003 for sure. Looking at 2002 in regards to your definition of mopped the floor means Saban has had it done to him pretty much every year he's been at Alabama.

Also beating a 6-win and unranked Alabama team by a mere 8 points didn't help your case either.

It's horseshite too. Everyone jizzed all over your 2009 team after beating an average 7 win Auburn team in the last minute. Anyway, AU could have beat that Alabama team by 50 points and they were not going to move ahead of OU.

And there you have it, on authority from Frank Beamer, the "Beamer Said So" award for stupidity in a message board post.

No one gives a damn about Frank Beamer and the vocal national championship award that auNecks believe he awarded your hick team.

Also said the 2013 Alabama team was the best team he had ever prepared for. This is the same coach that faced 2001 Miami and 2004 USC. When Beamer said that about 2004 Auburn, he was being nice. Let it go dude. Southern Cal was the best college football team in 2004 by a country mile.
