Freeze's offenses always gave teams fits. All those kooky screens and such. He does have a knack for developing good WRs.
That guy plus a hefty NIL and recruiting budget would be interesting. He wins every stop he makes. What he has done with Liberty is nothing short of remarkable.

Isn’t it? Liberty spends significantly more on athletics than almost every other G5 team. Hugh literally makes more at Liberty than he did at Ole Miss.
He also agreed to his contract extension over the weekend… unlike someone else.

Freeze was paid in the Top 10 coaching salaries while at Ole Miss. He was tied for 49th (now 29th) at Liberty.
As for their football expenses (that's what we're really talking about, not overall athletics) for the past year, it was $15,298,764. That is below USF, Houston and Cincy. Probably more, if I looked harder. About the same as Memphis.
So, yeah... pretty impressive, I think.
