It must suck to know if your team isn't buying players you are irrelevant. Bama spends all its money on football and can't compete in anything else.

Yet auburn is yet again behind Alabama in the director’s cup. How awful were the other sports that are not listed?

There is literally nothing funnier than non-football smack talk attempts from SEC schools not named Kentucky. Nothing.

Na insecure Bama fans inserting themselves into a topic not about them because they’re so insecure is even funnier.

I must sadly agree with Auburn here. I’m tired of the FOG mentality. There’s no reason we can’t maintain our elite football status while elevating our other sports to nationally competitive, especially with the dollars that football generates. But the FOGs refuse to do that for fear it might (gasp) detract from the football program. It’s frustrating and embarrassing.

I take it someone didn't have to deal with the dark ages.

Personally, I get tired of people who pretend the number of sports you "support" is somehow a status symbol.

How is winning the national championship in equestrian “almost” an achievement?

The World Series has not been played yet. How is the “almost”?

Except, it is a thing. Would you prefer “three most televised men’s college sports?”

What are the numbers like in terms of viewership?

I have no clue, but wouldn't be surprised to see even mid tier football games out doing somewhat major baseball events.

I suspect the popularity of football in this country goes hand in hand with the ignorance of 38% of the population and gambling.

It's been awesome the last few years enjoying softball, basketball and baseball. I'd love the football team to be more consistent but my life and happiness isn't connected to that hope.
