Way overrated. Still probably the best defense in the SEC but that offense is atrocious. Have a lot of work to do before playing LSU at end of October.

I said this in another thread but the SEC basically has 3 really good teams, Bama, UGA, LSU.
Auburn, Florida, and A&M are mediocre. The rest suck

Auburn's top-10 ranking has alot to do with their strong defense and the win over Oregon. Which additional teams have demonstrated that they deserve to be ranked ahead of Auburn at this juncture? Every team has areas they need to improve. Only two games have been played. The polls will adjust weekly.

If we played next week, LSU would slaughter us. Fry us like a corndog and put mustard on us. I think we will keep it close with A&M and UF and probably win one of the two. But we're going to have to improve on O to do that.

Y’all are overreacting to the Tulane game. We all knew that was going to be an ugly win. Had LSU had Georgia Southern after the Texas game they’d have still beaten the piss out of them but it likely wouldn’t have been as clean. Those big games are very draining. Bama struggles after Florida State two years ago and usually after a lot of those big opening season games.

Auburn has the defense to stay in every game, but they don't have the firepower to beat LSU, UGA, or Alabama yet. Nix will get better, but until Auburn's senior laden line begins to look like a senior laden line, 9-3 is the absolute limit.

That Tulane game was as predictable an outcome as possible. I'm pretty sure there was a thread about it and EVERYONE said it will be sloppy and ugly but Auburn will pull away.

Well there's not that many good teams in college football. Who would you have ahead of them? They have a good win against a good team and an ugly win against a bad team. Couple that with the amount of talent they have and I'd say they are in the right spot for now

They deserve it today, but unless things improve they won't in a few weeks.

You scored 9 points on a team that "sucked" last year. You have an even worse offense. Good luck staying undefeated through September
