I have seen reports (unofficial) that as many as 7 Auburn players (past and present) were at this party. We know
Christian
Phillips
Mack
Benton (name was mentioned)
Do we have any clue who else was there?

That guy needs to get more mentions in game stats and less in off the field activities.

Is that Deangelo Benton from Bastrop area?

yes, and let me make it clear that I have only saw on one or two reports that he was there. Nothing in the news. I am merely asking. He may not have been there

Supposedly he was the one talking about or to the girl from what I saw yesterday. That may have changed or be wrong.

I've heard/read the same, but so far, nobody has ponied up with any other names of players. Until they do, I'd just take it is unfounded rumor. Until the guy is in custody, I wouldn't expect much in the way of facts coming out as to what happened other than an "unnamed witness" coming forward by various outlets. And expect some of those to differ as well. When bullets are flying, your mind can't comprehend all details, and accounts will vary to a degree.

No doubt we're going to have to wait a while to get the complete picture.
I think they'll have Leonard in custody soon enough though, guy has half the state of Alabama looking for him and no resources to speak of.

I had read that as well. I probably should not have asked but I was just wondering. I believe Alahunter is correct, I don't expect many details to come out until we get the guy and start sorting things out.

Sorry about your comprehension problems.

I agree. I doubt he'll be loose more than a week, two weeks at most. Somebody will talk and give him up. Especially if more charges are forthcoming with the ones already charged for hindering prosecution.

I live in Mongtomery (God Bless Me), have a hunting buddy that is a US Marshall that is currently on this case. While I don't have much faith in the MPD, the US Marshall's are bad-asses and they will find him.
That's great to hear.

Until he's in custody, the investigation will be tightlipped on information and details. The only thing you're going to get is from people that were there and that will be limited probably. Law enforcement has a vested interest to keep details under wrap until he's in custody and questioned.

Yeah...I've heard stuff about it being Damario Pitts. We aren't going to know about what happened until they catch his arse and have witness testimony. I can't imagine he'll be on the run for long. The whole state of Alabama is looking for him.

Are you surprised? Did you not see the megathread? One thing I learned during the Cam fiasco is some bama fans are absolutely brainless and will blindly believe anything they read on the net.
Going on to tidefans and seeing what those people write is like hacking into an ex's email right after you break up. Absolutely nothing good comes from it. And it ends up making you feel angry and sick.

Only other names I've heard is that it was Benton who originally had words with the shooter but was pushed away from the situation by Anthony Swain. How the shooter and his group then got into it with the other two guys who started swing fists and bottles is still cloudy. That being said, it was only internet postings mentioning Swain and Benton and should be taken with a grain of salt at this point.

I may be jumping the gun here (and maybe not) but, IMO, that guy is way more fricking trouble than he's ever been worth.

Has he had trouble other than not being as good as advertised? I just can't remember.

Didn't he testify in the Felony Four trial as a member of the Synthetic Ganja Squad? My memory might be inaccurate about that.
