So, according to AU, the kid and his family are liars. The walk on offer was pulled by the university for his safety, and there were a lot of stupid goddamn people posting in that thread yesterday trying to make this about cannabidiol. It wasn't. The kid has health issues and can't pass the physical.

quote:

Auburn's medical staff did not clear Harris to play football due to his pre-existing condition of epilepsy and wanted to protect him from any potential head trauma, according to an athletic department source, who said the decision had nothing to do with the THC in his cannabis oil treatment.

So you're trying to tell me they recruited a kid as a preferred walk-on that it was widely known had a debilitating physical condition...

Just to fail him on his physical?

And that it had nooooooooooooothing to do with the NCAA and that evil gateway drug marijuana?

The NCAA has absolutely no jurisdiction to declare him
inelgible under those circumstances. He wasn't enrolled amd hadn't taken any type of drug test that would rule him ineligible. It's actually pretty simple.

Auburn can also request a waiver due to his circumstances

So yea, this is All on AU and the media and perhaps the school decided to scapegoat the NCAA if this kid's version of the story is correct.

Even if it was fake news I still blame the NCAA for this.

You're giving the family a pass here. THEY were the ones who made the bullshite up, not AU. And the fricking imbeciles in the media just ran with it.

It’s not like it would be a shocking thing for the NCAA to do. It was believable.

Kids have been ruled ineligible for much less

IF they did you are correct but not sure why they would make something up that could be so easily verified.

People outraged without knowing the actual story. SHOCKING

Who was outraged? I know I was disappointed when it was presented differently.

I thought it was ridiculous of the NCAA if what was posted was the story..

Any ways, this does make more sense.

It absolutely was in regards to something the NCAA would do.

Nobody plays the victim as well as AU.

But, you have to give them credit for having the balls to blame the NCAA for their heinous cannabinoid decision when it was AU doing the dirty deed to this kid all along.

What a master stroke. I salute you frickers.

What?No its not and give an example where they've done
something similar to kid thats not enrolled.

The only time a kid is ruled ineligible before he steps on campus is because he didn't pass the NCAA academic clearinghouse or maybe proof positive he received improper benefits.

Yea,they've done stupid shite to kids already enrolled:See Kolton Houston at UGA

I’m talking in general. It was easy to read the headline at face value and believe it to be true.

So you're saying Auburn took the blame for their boss, to stay on its good side? Got it.

If he had epilepsy Auburn knew before they asked him to walk on. They wouldn't have wasted the time, energy, or money to get the kid excited just to turn around and make themselves look bad. It would have been easier to look the kid over like the rest they turn down.

AU never said the NCAA ruled him ineligible.

AU said after reviewing his records and seeing he takes cannabis oil that he will test positive for THC. Which if tested, and all players are tested, he would eventually be ruled ineligible and suspended. Because THC is a banned substance.

Even the boy and his father claimed the same. If the THC was in fact used as a. Over for AU not wanting to risk his epilepsy that is a whole other storyline.

The AU poster titled his thread incorrectly and I even called him out in it. You can get off your high horse now puppy dawg.

Did you see and comprehend the last part? That's a big IF amd the kids father squarely put the fault on the NCAA

Please link and EVEN if this is true Auburn can request
a waiver on this kid for his prescription. Why no mention of a waiver?Once again, please link where an AU official said this.
