Do Auburn fans here realize that the same site y'all are using to justify these possible claims also has y'all FAR behind Alabama all-time?

1913 is the only legit one I see on that list they can claim with a straight face.

The others are all LOL to vary degrees, some fantastically so.

After decades of giving Alabama a hard time for claiming 2-3 dubious titles Auburn's going to try to claim like 6 of them?

Claiming these titles will make AU a national punchline.

Post the 1970's NOBODY claims anything other than the AP and Coaches poll, period.

Those Auburn claims are similar to a claim by a team that lost two conference games (was it MSU and Vandy?) and finished 20th in AP Poll (POLL ERA!11!!!)?

Yes. They are similar because everyone didn't just drop everything in 1936 when the AP started polling college football teams and anoint that particular poll as the end-all, be-all poll. It wasn't until 1950, when the Coaches Poll debuted with UPI, that the two polls became the gold standard.

There is a big difference in claiming a non-major poll title in 1941 as opposed to 1983, 1993 and 2004.

Why even respond if you can't come up with an intelligent rebuttal?

Can you get the 2014 National National championships tee shirts at your home town Wal-Mart? I'm sure you have at least one.

there isnt really one needed since bama fans have already determined which titles and criteria can and can not be used by other schools, most importantly Auburn. just like I stated

Then you can't read if you think I am arguing that. I believe I have gone on the record several times on this board saying the 1941 title was bogus. I don't claim it. In my mind we have 14 national titles. But to sit there and say Auburn claiming a national title in 2004 isn't any different from Alabama claiming a national title in 1941 is bullshite. The Associated Press, as I stated above, wasn't elevated to its position as the end-all, be-all poll over night. It took about a decade and a half for people to really start elevating above all the others. That being said, Alabama claiming a national championship that year is just stupid.

In 1941, during the Poll Era, Bama lost 2 games, finished 3rd in their own conference and finished 20th in the AP poll. There is not a claimed national title that will ever rival that one in dubiousness.

The biggest difference is there can be a kind of/somewhat reasonable argument made for AU claiming '83, '93 and '04, while there is no reasonable argument for Bama to claim '41.

There can't be a reasonable argument claimed for either one of them because not a single one of the teams you mentioned above (1941 Alabama included) finished #1 in a major poll.
