10 games played.

Only 4 games where they have outgained in a win or been outgained in a loss (LSU, Arky, Ole Miss, A&M).

Every other game has been the opposite.

Just weird.

The only season for auburn that could be accurately defined as an anomaly is one where we begin highly ranked and actually live up to the ranking. Other than that it's all standard protocol.

OP still makes a valid point. while our destination was somewhat predictable we did, in fact, arrive there in a very unorthodox fashion.

Auburn's anomaly was when they won the natty with Cheezdick
Now they just have a highschool one trick pony for a coach

7 of our 10 games have been decided by 8 points or less

Weird things happen when you hire Football Cancer, we had all sorts of statistical anomalies for 4 consecutive years then football became normal again despite having less talent on hand than in the previous year-- funny how that works.

1. We are not a supremely talented team, but we have not quit like we did in 2012.

2. We do not have a difference maker at QB.

3. We turn the ball over frequently in some games.

4. Defense is improved since the return of Lawson.

5. 6-6 is not the end of the world, but it certainly is below expectations.

Very true.

Auburn has started in the Top 10 a total of 18 times since 1950. They have finished in the Top 10 the same year they began in the Top 10 a total of 6 times.

Only 3 of those times did they end up ranked higher than where they started.

And the vast majority of our losses have been by 1 score.

Screams turnovers and shitty play calling in the clutch. Kinda like what we saw vs Georgia.

That's a good way to explain it. This team is the anti-2013 team. Very unclutch.

I wish we were playing bama at home this year. Our only two sec wins have been away games. Also a weird fact.
