So you also claimed one where you were being punished for cheating for good measure

NCAA just ruled that you’re allowed to cheat now. What’s good for the Michigander is good for the gander.

That Auburn 2004 team had more top 10 wins than USC and Oklahoma.

That was a great team, by any standard …

Just based on the number of future Senators and Governors, we should claim the championship

Alabama needs to actually claim all of ours. All 34 of them.

Surely you guys have a claim staked on every year of CFB existence?

I honestly think it’s awesome and I loved the line of “for far too long Auburn has taken the humble approach”

Jang already has a 5 page thread on this, but the bammers just got to come running to post something about Auburn. Your in-state blueblood rival Auburn Tigers that is.

Just calm down, we'll get you the Auburn news. It's ok.

Looks like Auburn really wants to take the reputation of being the gayest college from A&M.

Hope we put rainbows on our jerseys!!!

1958 LSU: 11-0, SEC Champions, Sugar Bowl Champions, #1 in AP and recognized as National Champions for 67 years
1958 Auburn: 9-0-1 (tied GaTech who finished 5-4-1), not invited to a bowl, finished #4 in the AP

Seems like a legit claim to me

2004 will always bum me out. I'm not worried about the national championship trophy. I don't give a shite about that stuff. I want to watch great games.

But I will always want to watch the 2004 Auburn play 2004 USC. I think that would've been a great game.

Did LSU beat Auburn head-to-head that year? No. So shut up. We'll let you share it, that should be good enough.

LSU didn’t play Auburn, but did defeat every team on its schedule, unlike Auburn, and won the SEC, also unlike Auburn.
You’re the one celebrating a tie vs a team that was barely .500 Embarrassing.

That’s embarrassing. It’s getting to the level of bamas claims of national championships. Guess it’s the state of Alabama thing!

I agree that it's hilarious, but not as hilarious as the 1941 championship claimed by Alabama.

Mississippi State should actually claim that one.

Honest question...did LSU only have 35 players on the team? Wow. Times have changed.

1941 shouldn’t count and if Alabama did away with it half of you frickers wouldn’t have a gripe about Alabama’s titles.

Count AP titles. Alabama would still have four more than the next closest then, but 1941 though, amiright?
