I think Auburn's compliance people are hard asses that would make damn sure those coaches walked a fine line in the wake of that Persons shitshow.

Compliance would know what every coach on that staff was doing 24/7.

Saw a thread about this yesterday. I came to the conclusion this is much ado about nothing.

Exactly, like Auburn placed themselves on a recruiting ban. And then under the microscope of AU Compliance and with the NCAA breathing down their necks, while 3 coaches are terminated and 2 big time players are sitting out the season, they go out and break their own self-imposed ban? WTH?

So another “article” reporting about a Pat Forde “article” which was based upon an AL.com article that had tons of holes.

Very cool

Seems like Pat Forde has a Geraldo/Al Capone Vault moment annually.

The story might have legs but AL.com corrected their story, and nobody thinks this Forde guy is credible. So until I see a reliable source I have to assume this is a yahoo hit piece on Auburn.

Yep. Say what you want to about how dirty our coaches may or may not be, but our compliance department, specifically McGlynn are as good as any in the country.

In fairness that article got it's information from Yahoo and (you guessed it) Pat Forde.
