Maybe for recruiting purposes. I fully expect him to really milk this for all it's worth. Nobody knows what Lane will do but Lane. But he will make headlines whether by troll or by stroll.

Doesn't make sense. Kiffin will get basically the same recruits. Yes, Auburn is better than Ole Miss but it's not that big of difference.

During the bama game, CBS ran a graphic that we have something like the 2nd most starts by freshmen in the country and we're very likely to go 10-2 with that roster.
Auburn is a total rebuild. It would need to be outrageous money for him to go somewhere that will need him to start from scratch again.

Kiffin had a verbal agreement to be the offensive coordinator at LSU when O got the job. Then Saban talked up Kiffin for the FAU job. Would be funny if Saban retires to get Kiffin to Bama before Auburn could snag him.

Why would Kiffin make a so called lateral move. Because he now knows he can never win a conference much less a National Championship at Ole Miss. he can do that at Auburn. That’s why he was so pissed off after loosing to Alabama with one of his best Ole Miss teams.

That’s the thing that sucks about college football right now. The players can just go with him. Judkins has been awesome and now y’all have to re-recruit him even if lane stays because bama can waltz in and offer him a shite load of NIL money.
