So your saying that without cam AU would beat UGA???

I don't think so.

Without Newton AU is a .500 or worse team

Which is what Ga. is. Which is why I say it would be a good SEC game.

Not necessarily. It all depends how ALL IN they went in teaching Malzahn's spread to just Cam. It is very effective with him...with someone else EVERY down? Who knows.

You have a senior offensive line, and a good running back.
But these are things that several SEC teams can deal with.

I don't think you beat Georgia without him..much less Fla or S Carolina....hell, without him,..you would not have made the title game...

well if you lose 75% of your offense you still have a good team
I am pretty sure that if we are without Cam we aren't just going to play 10 guys with no QB. Also, FWIW, he is about 60% of our O.

Football, perhaps more so than anyother sport, is a team sport. Granted, Cam "Look at Me" Newton is very, very good at what he does. But not good enough to carry a team to 9-0 against a tough SEC-West schedule without any significant help from his teammates. With Cam, Auburn is a very dangerous team; without Cam, they are still one of the best teams in the best conference in NCAA. If Cam sits tomorrow, UGA still had better bring their "A" game if they want a shot at winning.
Now, against Bama, Cam better be playing or Auburn will lose their shot at the NC game.

Cam took Auburn to national relevance. He will also take them to football purgatory.

Taking Cam out of Auburn is like taking Kelly Leak out of the Bad News Bears.

Auburn is at best a 5-4 team without Cam Newton.

Let's see here...You would have lost to Clemson, MSU, USCe, Ark, and LSU.

....it is a little late in the season for Aubie to adapt as it has taken FL most of this year to get it in gear.

You don't have shite besides Cam. If Cam sprains an ankle Saturday in the first quarter you're shite outta luck! Do you even watch your "team"? If Cam doesn't play Georgia will beat the shite out of you! Even with Cam Georgia will put up a fight. The Dawgs have been putting up some points

You are fricking moron....Yeah Cam is better than pretty much every other QB in nation, but if you dont think that the OC has anything to do with AU's success on offense you obviously didnt see AU last year when Chris Todd on One leg and bum Shoulder was putting 500 yards of offense on people.. GA is 5-5 , not what I would call a Juggernaut...

I absolutely agree with this post. It is amazing how one player at the QB position can change the look of the entire offense...even team. Offensive players are a step faster when CAM is a threat to run on any play. Defense is put in better situations and big plays against them don't get them down, because CAM and his offensive firepower can bail them out. It's like betting with someone else's money, a lot easier to go "ALL IN".
