I wouldn't say they guy "who called the Harsin firing" is some sort of enlightened sage. Predicting the inevitable doesn't really take a lot of brainpower.

What is the reasoning for exposing your program like this?
Auburn is on the cusp of turning in back-to-back losing seasons. They gave Malzhan an idiotic, one-sided guaranteed contract that carried zero accountability; then proceeded to hire a testosterone filled stubborn arse with an ego who rapidly tanked the program even worse than his predecessor.
Three (3) straight years of piss poor recruiting (by SEC standards) and massive portal transfers has left a talent depleted roster. They will have spent well over $50MM on contract buyouts and coaching changes in a 2 yr span which puts them in severe desperation mode.
The entire Family has Aligned and they are All In with this next hire.

Everyone knew Harsin was getting canned but he knew the exact time/day of firing.
