Samford is 15 minutes from Bessemer with a crime rate 297% higher than the national average.

I’m all for hating on Kansas, but Lawrence is a great college town. Free State Brewing is a great spot. As is 715 Restaurant.
First hit up Lawerence after driving back to KC following the Auburn-Kansas St football game in 2014. Have been back for work a couple times. Great town.

I can walk to Samford’s campus an I promise you crime is not a problem in the area.
