They've been handing out the Coaches' Trophy since 1986. Alabama has two of them sitting in the Bryant Museum.

Look, ya'll can turn a deaf ear to it all ya'll want, but we all know the story. Foster Daddy was going to make sure Brent ended up at Bama regardless of what his son wanted.

Impending probation is a tough objection to overcome.

The fact that this is even a subject speaks volumes to how well our coaches can recruit. This wouldnt have even been a thought when Tommy T held the reigns.
it's easy to recruit young kids with bags of money and new cars. But au still failed on these guys. Can't even get dogs to hang out with you with a pork chop tied 'round your neck, auburn.

But but but how can we be 0 for 4 on those recruits when we pay our players?

Yes, our recruiting class is an utter failure now. We might not win another game again.

It's absolutely where he wanted to be, idiot. The only reason he chose Auburn over Bama is because he was going to get a chance to play RB. Saban said he'd give Calloway a chance at RB, and when he did, it was no contest.

This is so ironic because Cam wanted to be at Mississippi State, but his dad made him go to Auburn!

The poor dude is crying....

quote:

“I’ve been hiding out,” Calloway said. “Nobody has seen me. I’ve been wearing hats everyday, hoods on my head. It’s been crazy man. I’m glad it’s over with.

“There were a lot of reasons,” he added, explaining his decision to change sides one last time. “I had a great time just sitting back, meditating, thinking to myself, putting myself in the position up to four years from now. Where would I be more successful? What university would put me in the pros?

“I looked at background. I looked at tradition. I looked at everything I possibly could look at as an athlete, as a student and as a person. That’s why I chose Alabama. Alabama has a great tradition. Auburn has a great tradition, too. Auburn is a great school, but I felt like Alabama would be a better fit.”
