Is killing your team. Him and KD both really. When they were sharing the ball earlier this year y’all looked unbeatable….now y’all just look like a normal good team.

Seriously unbiased opinion…..In the last month Auburn has went from a very elite very diverse team to a team extremely reliant on 2 players…..and y’all don’t put the ball in eithers hand in crunch time. Baffling

It is mystifying how the ball gets stuck on possessions with guards dribbling into a contested 3 or an out of control drive. Need more paint touches with kick outs. Need to at least move the ball from one side to the other and have Walker or Jabari get a post touch on most possessions. Teams have strangled our middle pick and roll game so we will need to diversify that action.

Flanagan is a shadow of himself or I’d say let him drive and kick.

Jabari is not quite there as a ball handler so he needs good guard play to get better looks.

Playing top 15 teams on the road is hard for any team so I’m not going to write us off, but I agree we need the guards to facilitate the offense rather than dominate the ball.

Flanagan got broken by BWA, realizing how bad his decision to leave the state was.

Wasn’t he in the lottery conversation heading into this year?

In his defense it prolly knocked some sense out of him when he got his face smashed by Devos Nutts

Flanagan got broken by BWA,

He's playing on a healed but recently repaired Achilles tear. He doesn't have near the explosiveness he did prior to the injury. He is playing good D and rebounding, but he has lost the first step on his drive.

Our guard play is an issue because we were hitting 35% of our 3's and the last 4 weeks that is below 20%. Green and KD both turn it over too much but that was true earlier in the year.

wat? He’s struggled long before BWA.

He was the primary ball handler last year and since coming back from tearing his Achilles he has struggled to figure out how he fits into the offense as a 3 instead of a 1. He’s forced a lot of things instead of letting stuff come to him.

Not by me, but some of the Auburn board members were very high on him pre-Achilles injury.

Lower limb injuries are brutal in basketball.

The road is tough for everyone. We are unbeaten at home. Y’all waxed us in OT I guess.

Notae is all conference.

I would guess
G: Notae, Pippen
C: Kessler
F: Tsheibwe, Eason

Then they’ll name a couple more as all SEC: Castleton, Wheeler, maybe Shackleford? Molinar? Maybe a UT guard.

Good year for the league.

He’s been bad all year, dude. Offensively, at least.

I don’t get how KD Johnson plays major college ball. He’s not good and out of control on the court.

I'm not an expert but I suspect its his ability to put up stats like this on a top 10 team in toughest conference in the country.

2021-22 SEASON STATS
PTS 12.5
REB 2.7
AST 1.4
FG% 40.0
Stl 2

But its just a guess.

We haven’t lost at home. Much like the other top 4 sec teams. On the road in the SEC is hard, especially as the top dog. We will be fine.

That last play with Green against Florida was one of the worst last plays I’ve ever seen.

Dribbled right into congestion and what would’ve been a highly contested three, got turned around and lost track of the clock, and just had to lob up a desperation hail mary that didn’t go near the rim.

Green and Johnson do ok against poorly coached teams. Muss even called it out in his presser, they wanted the ball in their hands because it takes their offense out of rhythm.

I was going to criticize this post but then realized you are a Georgia fan and likely don't even know the name of your own arena.

From an outsider's opinion it seems like your only weakness. The ball gets stuck in the guard's hand and for some dumb reason they won't get JS the ball in crunch time. The kid is the best player in the country and Green jacking up stupid 3's from half court.
