Will LSU close the gap on Bama? Should we even play the season? Bama beat Auburn 42-14 and LSU 21-0, seems we both have a long way to go. I have said we improve, record is 9-3
LSU beat bama at bama, won the SEC Title, and is favored to do so this year, so I don't know what gap you are talking about. How about Auburn, what were their accomplishments last year, big wins? Also, LSU beat Auburn so badly that they actually called off the "tigers" in the game or it would have been a lot worse...and that was without several players for LSU.

Depends if you believe what you saw last year from Auburn lack of talent and coaching, or a lack of experience. When a team loses 32 players including the Oline, WR corp, entire Dline, 2 LBs and 3/4th of secondary, that is not easily replaced. Auburn was is dead last (120 of 120) in the country in returning starters. The entire 2 deep at DT was two true sophomores with a combination of 13 career tackles, thier backups were two true freshmen.

Yes, questioning how Auburn is going to go from being not competitive to winning the West is quite dumb. Spiderman threads, now talk about intelligent....must be all of 22 years old..if that. If this is the new trend, then the arkansas posters who love to post about winning championships, should get a lot of spiderman threads. Btw, I'm an outrageous poster? Everything I say is fact....it irritates you possibly, but the facts are that arky has NEVER won a championship as a member of the SEC. I honestly never had anything against arkansas until I saw the ridiculous posters on this site always talking about being elite, etc....I'm like what the frick...you have never even won anything in the SEC...so...thus the flame against arkansas, which is not that hard to do given their results.
It's what happens when you've proven yourself a terrible poster and people hold you in such low esteem. Didn't in a similar thread to this you refer to cam and tebow both as once in a lifetime players?

Oh ok...that explains it then. Honestly, it appeared to be a lack of all three. You guys don't get it yet, but Chiz will be on the hot seat after this year. It took a while to convince Ole Miss fans about HN also....they had to wait and see. It's tougher to see the big picture when you are too close to it.

I said Cam. Florida had a good team around Tebow, and would have still been pretty good. Cam was the difference between 14-0 and 9-4/8-5.

Are you seriously comparing Nutt's tenure at Ole Miss to Chizik's at Auburn? That's just dumb.
