Auburn fans... how good was Darren Bates?

I've been watching a lot of Raw Room which is a highly successful podcast hosted by King Dunlap (Auburn), Bates (Auburn), and Jalen Collins (LSU).
They are by far the funniest CFB show out there right now and its actually informative bc they go deep into how CFB and NFL actually works behind the scenes with their stories.

I remember him being a good player. Physical, playmaker at times. Made a lot of tackles.

Started as a true freshman at safety in 2009, and even knocked Mark Ingram out of the Iron Bowl.
Transitioned to LB the next year.
Was never really that good, but he was athletic and Auburn was really lacking at LB at the time. Was apart of the 2010 NC team.
