I give him a B. Definitely an upgrade from Malzahn. Just needs to get his system and players in place.

Dude, you've started about 10 threads in the past 24 hours. Slow your pace. Not every random thought that comes to your mind needs to be a new topic.

I like him as a coach, but the recruiting would be a serious concern for me as an Auburn fan.

Nah. He'll coach up that 13th in the SEC recruiting class to beat a few more talented rosters like Tennessee, South Carolina, Mississippi State, and maybe Ole Miss.

Coaching he's a solid B. I think he's done a pretty good job. Recruiting he's an F. He's currently 13th in the SEC, ahead of only Vanderbilt.

Grade Bryan Harsin

I think a solid B+ or A.

He led well through a critical moment after GA State that could have sent a 1st yr coaching staff and the team in a spiral.

He has a team that all had written off in contention for the SEC West playing solid defense and working its offensive options as best they can.

His recruiting is a big question mark. It is a first principle for CFB coaches. It will be interesting to see how he navigates the close of the recruiting season, early signing period and the transfer portal to set conditions for the next few years.

But, he has exceeded all expectations with the current roster and is instilling a tough nosed culture that AU has lacked in recent years.

B.

1 Need to recruit and develop offensive linemen.
2. Recruit and develop a QB
3. Recruit and develop wide receivers.
4. Recruit and develop defensive linemen.
5. Quit running trick plays.

At RB, TE, we look good.

Solid at second and third level of defense.
Adequate upfront.

He seems to have a long term plan.

B- so far. I won't judge the recruiting part of it until signing day. I expect to finish quite a bit higher in recruiting than we currently are.

Agree with this analysis.

On the field B, though last weekend was pretty rough.

Overall, C-. Recruiting is pretty much a disaster.

C. On field is a B and recruiting is a D. Not melting about the recruiting though, at least not yet. It’s early.

Solid A+ coaching.

D recruiting. He did well in the transfer portal, but HS recruiting has been lackluster and pathetic

Fair enough. Just doesn't have the onfield signature win yet. But that recruiting. The dude must come off a lot like his sideline demeanor. Not a great look for recruits.

He's from out west though. Really can't judge his recruiting until the class of 2023.

Jordan-Hare Voodoo says hello in 3 weeks. Not saying Auburn will win but wouldn't be surprised either.
