Legitimately curious... (changed team for the occasion). State College is a truly special place. I sincerely hope you enjoyed it as much as I have over the years

PSU whiteout is best atmosphere in cfb, especially against OSU. You are welcome back any time

Honest assessment that does not need to be interpreted as sour grapes because we lost. Gettysburg—-spent 10 hours… amazing if you are in to history! The area of middle Pennsylvania is beautiful, clean with the Quaker feel. But rivaled by north Georgia, Arkansas and Tennessee. The campus was very impressive and slightly better than Purdue. But is rivaled by Tuscaloosa, Athens, Gainesville, Baton Rouge.
As for Beaver Stadium… it is a myth in my honest opinion. It is an old concrete jungle comparable to a larger Grant Field. Small entrances, out of date restrooms. The lower bowl is small rivaled to Vanderbilt Stadium and Kyle Field prior to their expansion. Your capacity it in that one 3-tiered upper deck. Portable Little League aluminum bleachers in all four corners directly in front of concession stands
With relation to the white out… same thing happens every week in every stadium in the SEC except the colors are different! The Swamp, Red Stick, Sanford, Kyle Field, Columbia, Jordan Hare are much louder. The tailgate area outside the stadium is atrocious, concrete, barren.dull and boring. After all that crap ESPN hyped about Big Ten this, big Ten that. Best atmosphere in college football happens at every campus every week in the SEC! Ya got away with one last Saturday. See ya in Auburn next year.

Yeah this is how I know you were actually in attendance

Beaver Stadium is a mess. Great views in the daytime but at night it's basically Legion Field in a cow pasture. There's something about the isolation that always got to me and it might be different now... idk I haven't been in 3 years. All in all I hope you enjoyed it. I've been to Tuscaloosa (many times), Athens, Gainesville and Baton Route but there is no town like State College imo. It's a universe separate from everything else going on in the world. I'd love to be back there

It is definitely a beautiful place and fantastic environment, particularly for white out games. One of my best friends both grew up there and attended. I’ve been twice.

That being said, it’s still second to Death Valley in BR.

You have like 12 hours before I (publicly) believe you have no association whatsoever with the University of Kentucky

Everyone I know that went said they enjoyed the experience a lot. Said the Penn st fans were great, the town was fun and loved the support they showed the program.

They said the crowd was rowdy and energetic but it is not that loud as they thought it might but could tell the White out experience could pump up the players. Said it was an awesome atmosphere.

They said they would definitely return if AU should play there again.

I myself enjoyed the game from TV minus the loss, but give respect to the fans giving all they had for 4 quarters. I will be going to next years game in Auburn and expect our fans to treat Penn St fans well like we usually do to visiting schools.

We need more games like these home and home throughout college football. It beats the natural site games by a wide margin.
