Yeah. Same with the ones in my office. I learned this stat today which is pretty unbelievable:

Ole Miss' all-time record against Auburn when Auburn is ranked: 0-19

That's unreal.

AU is too inconsistent this year for anyone to be certain we win.

I do like our chances, but Ole Miss has a really exceptional offense this year and the d seems better than a few weeks ago.

So I went to verify the above stat, and it is correct. It's actually probably worse than that though. Ole Miss is 11-34 all-time against Auburn. Those 11 wins were against these Auburn teams:

2015 Auburn (8-5)
2912 Auburn (3-9)
2008 Auburn (5-7)
2003 Auburn (8-5)
1999 Auburn (5-6)
1992 Auburn (5-5-1)
1965 Auburn (5-5-1)
1952 Auburn (2-8)
1951 Auburn (5-5)
1949 Auburn (2-4-3)
1928 Auburn (1-8)

That's only 2 all-time wins against Auburn when Auburn has a winning record.... and both of those teams still had 5 losses. How is that possible??

Outside of a 15-20 year period under Vaught, Ole Miss has been average to below average.

I can't ever recall going into the Ole Miss game when I didn't expect to win and this year is no different.

In 2015, we finished with a 7-6 record. Not 8-5.

Understand and don’t disagree with you. Both Bama and AU have always owned us. Auburn always brings it and believes they will win the game. Their program is always to be respected. Being in the same state as Bama, got to admit, it’s pretty impressive. Hope our players know they will be in a physical battle. Huge game with lots of implications.

So they think the game is a toss-up. They are giving you 3 points for home field and SEC refs. Remember that you lost to Georgia State.

You do realize the betting line has Auburn as a 3 point favorite?

You are being way to reasonable I’m not sure that’s allowed on this site.

It should be a good game I think Auburn wins but wouldn’t be surprised if that doesn’t happen.

Arkansas has played both and Auburns QB has gotten better and will torch OM

Winners don’t bother with the opinions of losers.

DownsouthJukin actually doesn't pull for OM guys. He is really a closet Auburn fan he just likes playing hard to get. It's okay little fella dont be scared, changing your team logo is a good start to a whole new world for you. Your comment however is untrue we care deeply for the misery of Ole Miss....

DSJ is OLE MISS to the core. But he is a great guy who enjoys fans who are jerks. One of my favorite dudes on this site.

But tomorrow - for 4 hours….

He is my temporary enemy.

The really amazing stat is that we’ve only played Auburn 45 times despite being in the same division for nearly thirty years. They must have ducked Vaught.

They might.

They’re rested, Ole Miss is a tired team. They looked flat at times drubbing LSU. They’re playing at Auburn, where really weird officiating occurs.

If I was going to bet, it’d be the barn, even though I think Ole Miss is the better team.

Vaught’s record was 4-1 against Auburn. Don’t know the particulars about it though.
