Sounds like a great time. And despite the fact that I hate most every one of you on this damn board, I’m betting irl, we’d have a hell of a time around a camp fire sipping some whiskey cooking up a few steaks at the hunting camp.

I'm just glad nobody brought Dick Cheney along for the hunt, we would be down a starter on D before spring practice even started

A guy I work with met KJ at an Oxford high school game last season before Thanksgiving break. They got to talking and KJ found out the guy has a bunch of land over in Cleburne county with some cattle and a bunch of land. They ended up making plans to go rabbit hunting over Christmas break when KJ came home.

Guy said he didn't want to talk any football at all. My buddy said he also learned why he was an SEC caliber athlete out there running KJ's dogs. He said he was moving through the woods like a deer and never got tired. The hunting was slow that day so KJ and his dad ended up only staying a few hours and went on to another hunt in Wedowee around lunch time. I know, CSB.

I have found that there are enough dead animals in the grocery store...so I didn't feel the need to go and shoot one and watch the life leave his body in the wild. It's idiotic and cruel at best...

Did you let KJ listen to the tapes?

When I watched KJ's commitment video to Auburn, I knew he was all class. Refused to dis on the teams he didn't pick. Great player, but an even better man.

Some of the finest men (and the accompanying young men with them) that I've ever had the pleasure of being around were rabbit hunters.

They are a different breed altogether, and they are, more often than not, as good as they come.

So you would rather someone else raise it up in a cage where it never experiences freedom, herds it terrified into a chute, and effectively hits it in the head with a hammer so you don’t have to get your hands dirty or think about where that burger you are eating came from?

Got it. I think we’ve identified the idiotic and cruel one here.

Mr. Kenny is awesome. We rabbit hunt with them a couple times a year.

Became a huge fan of KJ’s after his commitment video. Good kid.

I can attest to what that guy said. KJ took the dogs out of the box at 7:00 am, put the collars on them and did not stop walking until dark. The guy literally never stopped walking all day long and he didn’t eat lunch. Dude is a man and a very nice person. I will watch every Auburn game this year just to pull for KJ.

because the meat you buy in the grocery store died of natural causes.
