The calls go against Auburn and you’re 1-4 right now and they fire Gus today

He wins out but loses in playoff and gets a 3 year extension

How do the 5 years go? How does Bo Nix look the rest of this season in the wins?
If we win out and Nix is dynamite then I'm cool with an extension. We'd be legit title contenders next year.

The only way Gustav gets a raise and an extension would be if he renegotiated his deal to significantly reduce his buyout. Which he has no financial incentive to do.
Your hypothetical scenario implies that he beats LSU and TAMU at home and Bama in Bryant-Denny, a trifecta that has a statistical probability indistinguishable from zero, so its a moot point.

I still dont see any ocach being fired this year or just after it. Way too much $ and athletic departments are being destroyed right now revenue wise.

I would take Chiz again in a heart beat over Gus. He knew line play and recruiting is key to success.
