Sounds like Paterino should have gone too.

Yes. Auburn didn’t stop us. We stopped ourselves.

A&M's mistakes and egregious amount of penalties kept it a one score game.

This level of thinking is remedial.

The SEc network showed his post-game press conference.
Holy shite he looks awful.
Red, fat, puffy. He looks like got stung by 1000 bees after a three day whiskey and coke fueled bender.

But we were assured by Auburn fans, just a few weeks ago, that Jackson Arnold was the answer. You remember that Ball State game?
You guys were flying so high…

Damn it. That’s atrocious.

Our offense is easy to defend and it seems we only have about 3 basic plays. Drop back without a pocket and hope someone gets open 40 yards down field. QB keeper up the middle. Tailback up the gut sometimes. Most Rec ball teams mix it up better.
There’s no two back formations for short yardage, no shovel passes, no toss sweeps, no misdirection, no bootlegs, no bubble screens or draw plays to counter the blitz.
It’s really a shame with the talent we have to run such a stupid vanilla scheme.

Well said. It’s abysmal on every level.
If you want to run an offense that relies on long developing pass plays then you need a great offensive line and a QB who gets the ball out timely.
We have neither. Thus the disaster we saw yesterday.

Fayetteville, Arkansas is further north than Norman and just 25 miles from Oklahoma. But it's considered the deep south.
Fayetteville and NW Arkansas are not part of the "deep south"...the Arkansas Delta and southern Arkansas...
But NW Arkansas is part of the Ozark Plateau... different part of the south.
And Norman, OK? 20 miles from Midwest City, Oklahoma.... which is named after the "Midwest Air Depot"... which was named that because the US Army considered Oklahoma as being in the "Midwest"...during WWII.

The Aubie who posted that there were only 8 called rushing plays to a RB a week after his QB took 10 sacks has me convinced that Hugh is trying to get fired.

I thought it was Gus that had this problem. Now you're saying Hugh Freeze also have this problem.

Auburn fans probably going to be pretty fricking mad when Freeze is able to leverage Alabama having a DC with room temperature IQ into saving his job.

I remember after the South Alabama game some Auburn fans were beating their chests about Auburn having the number one ranked rushing attack in the SEC. Because of Jackson Arnold.
Since the South Alabama game Jackson Arnold has 35 rushing attempts for exactly 0 yards.

Too bad you don’t play LSU this year. We could have leveled out those stats for your season.

On the bright side, you have to respect that kind of consistency.
