So how long before the natives start getting restless? Don't ever remember the barn sucking so bad this late in the process.

Our average is 3.88...good enough for government work.

1. We don’t have to. There’s been a weekly thread by Alabama fans
2. Usually we don’t do recruiting updates on the Rant. When’s the last time there’s been a LSU update? Bama update?
3. You must have missed the Auburn fan that was bragging about our recruiting when we moved up to like 50 (which was WAY to fricking early to brag)

Early signing period is December 15th. It's not exactly "early" in the process. Coach Harible has 4 months.

On July 25th, our national ranking was 78th, it is now 55th. Several 4* targets are committing on the 19th.

Auburn will likely finish in the top 20

How many players has Au lost to the transfer portal, i.e. how many players are now on scholarship?

The recruiting rank is deceiving since we only took 16 players. They are damn good though. We did very well with transfers. We will be just fine. 2022 and 2023 are looking excellent.

You do realize most top tier teams don’t have a new coach? You do realize most top tier teams didn’t hire a coach from Idaho? You do realize this was kind of expected in his first year? You do realize we will close with more recruits and move up the rankings?

Obviously we are not in the SEC yet, but it seems to me, from an outsider perspective, that Auburn is to Alabama as Oklahoma State is to OU. You go to Auburn if you don’t get an Alabama offer, or Auburn pays a bunch of cash and offers your brother a scholarship also. Historically in recruiting new coaches get a recruiting bump because of the excitement. It appears the excitement with Auburns new coach is not good. Wish the best for you guys as someone needs to challenge the king, but finishing 20th ain’t gonna do it. Lowly OU is higher than that and we aren’t even in the SEC.

I think the AU head coach is a sharp cookie though...might make some noise.
