imho
That seems like an overstatement IMO
We already knew that Auburn was associated with some less than great people in Dye, Lowder, and McCrooked
This just tells us that at least some of that association is now being investigated... which at some level is common sense

Because I didn't know how to spell it, I guess.

Brooks picked the story up from the ATPB thread which got it from a blog called I bleed crimson.
funny how closely the aubbies are following a story that leads no where. Who the hell besides a few folks on ITAT knew there was a blog called I Bleed Crimson?

SBB's title is accurate, this one not so much.

Robert Geddie, whose lobbying firm was reportedly paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by a private fundraising arm of Auburn athletics called Tigers Unlimited. (The same Tigers Unlimited that current Auburn Athletic Director Jay Jacobs oversaw before taking over as AD.)
Bingo. I pointed this out long ago for everyone on the rant -- right after this story first broke, plus I might add, he (Geddie) was wire tapped. Mr. McGoo is who everyone keeps saying because he's the ramblin gamblin spotlight man, but from what I hear, he may be untouchable. BUT (Geddie) is the clown who botched the act, and as I told you long ago, he is going to spring the guillotine, but just wait until you see how it all plays out. I reference the "six pack" I named way back then. That is all for now.

Finebaum says this thing is over, so I would suggest everyone just move along and not get so mad about things.

you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas ... but don't take my word for it, ask Alan Parsons.

"A FBI criminal proceeding that Gilley’s lawyer indicated in the continuance request contained 50 hours worth of 2,700 wiretapped phone calls as evidence, along with 180,000 documents as evidence against the defendants."
Coincidence?
Coincidence?

To be fair, he was telling people off the air last year that Auburn was the most corrupt program he'd ever seen, and that other cheating in the SEC didn't compare.
What he says on air tends to be a little different, based on who he wants his audience to be at any given time.
It would also be routine for the lawyers mentioned to get copies of motions, etc., so it doesn't really mean much.

I think you're right - radio guys have to change their stands to generate attention or keep the audience interested
What he says one way or the other as unsubstantiated opinion should usually just be taken as idle chatter to generate some sort of response
He's been around for a while right? Was he ever ahead of the curve when it came to stuff like the Means case? Or does he pretty much broadcast so many different opinions that he's going to be covered one way or the other?

After hearing the principal of WMR Elementary's interview on Finebaum, I've changed my mind. Cam is innocent.
I am so lying right now.
