Sec office has already came out and said the play should have been flagged. There is a rule specifically for plays like that.
Every coach, ref, and player knows since rec league plays like that are illegal.

Stats will start being meaningful after this coming weekend. The games with little sisters of the blind for all the teams have wound down.

OU isn’t screaming refs robbed them.

SEC officiating incompetence is not our problem
The play was illegal.
The receiver was ineligible.
And according to Stoops, Oklahoma practiced this play all week.
Yes, the refs were incompetent…. But dont try to gaslight the entire SEC into believing OU had no culpability

Auburn had the ball last, with plenty of time to go win it and they folded like lil bitches. Got wrecked! Stop this we got screwed BS! They had the opportunity to go win it and they couldnt! They werent cheated out of a win, they got whipped when it mattered most!

Still doesn't change the fact the score should have been different

That is inexcusable on both sides but at least the refs were disciplined for it.
It’s really scummy when you think about it. The refs do this job part time. A highly paid football coach called that play knowing the ref would be suspended if it worked.

you keep telling yourself and maybe it will come true.
Pathetic. Just be thankful for some reason the powers that be gifted OU the win.
We all saw the game, and it was obvious the fix was in.
OU is used to this type of treatment that they used to get consistently when in the Big 12.

They weren't playing Baylor's defense.
Legitimately, we scored the same amount of points as Oklahoma did...
And you're trashing our offense??

BS. Laughable! Just like missouri. They had every opportunity to win AFTER that and folded! Hey when missou wins something get back to us.

Well you know, pregame they told the refs about it, so theres that. They said nothing about it. Not on OU its on tts ref crew for being idiots. Auburn had the ball with time to win it in the 4th and folded, went and got their arse handed to them. Play better.

but the Refs cost them the game.
OU has a great defense. Auburn still put themselves in position to win the game. Two missed calls literally cost Auburn 14 points. Last year in Norman the refs gave them 7 points against Bama....but it wasnt a big deal because OU won by a big margin. This game was entirely different
I cant believe im having to defend Auburn...

This is just how Auburn fans are. They never lose a game, it’s always someone else’s fault they lost.
Enjoy the glorious victory and I’m happy you’re still at the undefeated table with the real SEC teams. Let the little kids table throw food at each other and argue amongst themselves.

New around here huh? Trust me on these 2 facts.
1) Auburn has traditionally and historically been the dirtiest school in the SEC, and they revel in it.
2) LSU fans will flock to any critique of Refs in any game, any conference, any context, akin to BLM protestors to a police shooting. The shared mentality is undeniable.
3) These 2 facts along with the overrepresentation of LSU fans on tRant account for 99% of the sympathy threads toward AU.
The fact ignored is AU's offense is atrocious. Full Stop.

On the missed PI call, they scored a TD a few plays plays later. so that missed PI didnt cost them 7 points.

I don't think Auburn lost the game due to refs, even though there were two very big calls missed that went in the Sooners favor that directly lead to a touchdown for them and another that could have been a potential touchdown for Auburn.
If the conference and the refs were supposed to be emphasizing getting "deceptive plays" out of the game and it was supposed to be a point of emphasis, then they royally missed one on the OU player making it look like he was leaving the field only to hide out by the sidelines for the next play. That play should have been flagged and brought back and penalty yardage assessed.
