Evidently so. Fans at MSU are coming out and saying they are happy he is gone. His wife's personal agenda even effected his job. She went after Schaefer and he ended up going to Tx.
His record at MSU----- 4 Sweet Sixteen appearances, 3 Elite 8 appearances, 2 Final Fours, and 2 National Runner-up finishes. He also guided MSU to 2 SEC Championship and 1 SEC Tournament Championship, the only conference titles for MSU in any women's team sport. The 2016-17 team made college basketball history by defeating No. 1 Connecticut 66-64 in overtime in the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament. That victory snapped the Huskies’ record 111-game win streak .
He was replaced with a coach who was barely 50% in wins.
Who hires a 50% coach to replace that.

How are the Baseball facilities at MSU? We know their BB is similar to Coleman.

Not about knowing how much off the top of your head, but look it up. Cohen has really done well with Facilities based on their budget. Image what he will do with AUs budget and resources.

I absolutely hate this as a "pro" and I keep hearing "he's a facilities guy". The AD can design facilities is now a big positive?? That's so far from the most important AD characteristic.
I want a guy who can work a room like a good CEO or salesperson and get boosters, coaches, and other AU stakeholders all pulling in one direction.

You may not like the word but the concept is sound... liberalism to the point of counterproductivity is relatively widespread and tolerated. That said, I haven't seen concrete examples from the MSU folks of what he's actually done that impacts his job performance at MSU.

The ADs function at most P5 schools is to get money and build facilities. The are not the sole committee on coaching hires and are used to control the day to day management of the department. It all depends on the PTB and the President.

The basketball facility was to be renovated for use this season. Due to who he hired, they will not be able to play in it this year because the company damaged the supporting structure.
Their teams will have to play in Tupelo, Ms.
I'm sure a MSU fan will correct me if I am wrong.

He is not the most personable guy to come along. I would think glad handing and back slapping is a big part of an AD's job.

The coach he hired could organize BLM marches, but could not do her job.
Evidently missed a lot of games and right before the new season started, she walked away leaving them with an assistant to coach the team.
