In case you haven't noticed, we're in the middle of basketball season and Auburn is 1st in the SEC and having an historic season. There is nothing anyone can say to a REAL Auburn fan right now, that'll bring us down. We are in the midst of witnessing greatness and nobody gives a shite about what happen months ago and the only people that still do are UGA fans. You guys STILL can't let it go. Auburn fans have moved on. To think you'll change anyone's mind through conversation is delirious, so melt away bitch.

Don't want to get in the middle of your love fest, but are you joking? There were two threads started today (two that I know of) by Auburn fans trolling Georgia about football. And, lest you have noticed this one has legs and it is about Georgia football for a troll. So. No. Auburn fans are still not getting past football season and moving on.

If "Auburn had nothing to play for" is a good excuse for losing to UCF, then why isn't "Georgia had nothing to play for" a good excuse for losing to Auburn in our first meeting?

Because y'all literally had everything to lose. Y'all were #1 in the country and undefeated. But y'all hadn't played a single team worth a shite and a lot of people still didn't buy into y'all, it was y'alls big chance to prove y'all were worthy of #1 and a legit title contender and got absolutely humiliated.

You should have taken your own advice and quietly bowed out

That is a good thing. Addition by subtraction. Especially the the OT spots. The only reasons the guys who will start this year didn't start last year is because they were all freshmen, a couple of them inexperienced Nigerian nationals who were still learning the game but are both 6'7"+ 315+ monsters that are athletic freaks with no ceilings on their potential, and 5* top 20 recruit Calvin Ashley who may have very well been our starting LT last season as a true freshman if not for season ending eye surgery before week 1.

UGA football hands down. Auburn is not going to win the NCAA tournament because they would have to actually play and beat good teams .

Do you consider your Gators to be a good team? If Auburn beats UF at UF, will it change your mind or will it be another bad win? We have 21 bad wins so far..

Not UGA fans apparently but if you notice the current SEC Men's Basketball Standings.. you'll find that Auburn is 21-2, 9-1 and first place in the SEC.

Which do you think is more likely, Auburn fans or Georgia fans moving on from football, since it is presently basketball season? The answer is simple if you're honest with yourself..

No one buys this BS. Football always comes first for fans of our schools. Success in bball doesnt change that. Big difference between fair weather and die hard.

Pretty sure we didn't. We had clinched the East already and were going to the SECCG regardless. The SECCG was the one for us to win and we did. Winning the regular season game did not help nor hurt us. We won the SECCG, went to the playoffs and played for the National Championship. How did that regular season affect us at all?

But y'all hadn't played a single team worth a shite and a lot of people still didn't buy into y'all, it was y'alls big chance to prove y'all were worthy of #1 and a legit title contender and got absolutely humiliated.
Other people perceptions did not affect anything. The SECCG proved we were good as did the Rose Bowl and the National Championship game.

As it pertains to a discussion about basketball, I did. I don't follow it and don't care about it.

So having to play the players that could not beat out that horrible OLine is a good thing, now?

The too early "Our Lads" depth chart for Auburn show two Red Shirt sophomore,(so, no. Not freshmen) and a true freshman with no idea about the other two slots. Yep. Sounds like the ideal situation to get things turned around. Of course, you are more familiar with your team, but if teams get pressure on Stidham you will be in big, big trouble. I mean, Stidham could settle down....but after being at baylor for a year and Auburn a full year and not settling down, it would appear as if he will be a gun shy QB, which means your OLine had better be a lot better than it was this year. Clemson, Georgia and UCF all put him on his back all game long.

Look at the comments. Don't be obtuse. Yep. I melt every time Georgia wins the SEC in football.

We both had everything to lose in the seccg. That wasn't the case in game 1.

We return literally every single player from our team this season, plus add another 3-4 highly talented players. 3 of which would already have starting experience at this level, and 3 of them being big men which is really our only weakness this year.

But according to you there's a 2% we are even close to as good as this season. That makes SO MUCH SENSE!

Yeah, I'll have what you're having

So in your opinion, will Auburn be no worse than a 2 loss team through January of 2019 and 1st place in the SEC and top 10 nationally? Or at least very close to it? How about a 4 loss team and 2nd or 3rd in the SEC next year by the end of January and a top say 15 team nationally? It's not about your talent, it's about where you stand relative to the rest of the conference or the country.

*at this level* was the key distinction. In no way am I implying that Auburn will definitively drop from where they are now to the middle of the pack, but it's not unreasonable to think that they won't have this kind of caliber performance... if we're evaluating "most likely".

Obviously 2% is probably a bit hyperbolic... it's the internet... But I don't think it's orders of magnitude off from reality either... Particularly given the general increased talent across the SEC in basketball and the number of games that Auburn has either trailed in significantly but come back or won by single digit margins.
