This is the attitude I'm talking about . . . Don't you guys still have to play Georgia Saturday? Do you expect them to roll over and play dead?

Yes. But don't you guys still have to play.... oh nevermind.

2. (this is the bigger factor) Aub may be under sanctions in the coming years and whoever gets interviewed has to be considering that his future team may not even be bowl eligible, or down on scholarships, for the first few years of his contract.

We have been down this path before, there is nothing to this... why anyone would believe Danny Sheridum is beyond me... If we were in so much trouble, don't you think we would have told Trooper to take a hike?

Which is why this thread is about who will be the next coach of Auburn and other SEC coaching changes

I didn't say that. We expect a hard fought game.

Which ends with another victory along the path to our rightful place, which we cannot be denied.

So those coaches sucking had nothing to do with them being fired, it was because of Saban?? GTFO.

Meyer left because he didn't have Tebow and Cam Newton was tearing it up at Auburn, probably what gave him his health problems.

If anything made Meyer quit it was Cam at Auburn after Tebow left. Especially considering he had beat Alabama the previous year

?

2009: Saban beat Meyer 32-13 for the SECCG
Meyer has a heart attack or something immediately after the game.
Tebow leaves.

2010: Saban beat Meyer 31-6
Meyer quits

So you think the NCAA is going to leave Auburn empty handed twice in 2 years? I just don't believe that there would be a second investagation unless the NCAA had something. It would make the NCAA look very stupid IMO

No this thread is about Alabama being a great football program and someone in the media making it bigger than what it is. Then we get threads like this where other fans are trying to remind the Alabama fans that Alabama is not invincible. Then we have some idiot Alabama fan who actually thinks we are invincible.

The reality is anyone with good sense knows Alabama can be defeated because they have been defeated. Anyone with good sense knows Alabama cannot defeat a NFL team or that the SEC Champ game is not a lock.

Gregg Doyel is no different than the people who actually took Spurrier Alabama vs NFL comments serious.

I haven't heard anything from Sheridan? The only thing I've heard is what has been reported by Yahoo sports and other credible sources. Which is that there is an official investigation going on. The NCAA doesn't open official investigations unless they've got credible evidence.

Tropper and Luper were taken off teh recruiting trail months ago which tells me something is up. Why weren't they fired? Who knows...but we all know (now) that there were some mismanagement issues going on under Chizik's watch...so maybe that's why.

Didn't Florida win the SEC in 2008 by defeating Alabama?

Teabow is gone in 2009 and things begin to go downhill. 2010 Cam arrives and Meyer is spouting off about the integrity of the game and retires at the end of the year

Danny Sheridan is not the source of this recent wave of media coverage.

The source was probably an Auburn insider putting the final nails in Chiz's coffin.

There was no new information in the Yahoo report but the fact that it comes out the week before the IB would make a rational person question it's validity. But since this is a message board you all are excused from being rational

Yes they did. But that was 2 years before Meyer lost 31-6 to Bama and Cam newton never played florida in 2010.

You said, the previous year....which actually Bama won (32-13 in SECCG)
