#Auburn and #OleMiss have met 44 times on the Gridiron. AU has won 75% (34-10) of those games and are on a 5 game win streak which includes winning 16 of the last 20.

The No. 18 Tigers and No. 10 Rebels will square off again Saturday night in Jordan-Hare.

Your early thoughts?

Depends on whether or not we get either of the 2 WRs back and how well Auburn runs their QB.

Mobile QB causes us to use Campbell as a spy and essentially takes him out of the game.

Against pocket QB's he can tear up an offense. He had 20 tackles and a fumble against LSU.

I think it hinges on our beat up offensive line. Did not play very well in our two previous road games(Bama, Tennessee). But if they are decent and we are able to run the ball as well as we normally do, I think we pull it out in a close one. If we cannot run then we could take a beating.

The only year that matters is this one. Good luck with that!

I expect to see a steady diet of 4 and 27 from the Tigers. For good reason too, as, prior to this past weekend, we have struggled to stop power backs.

We have one of the best punters and a pretty good kicker. Auburn always has quality punters and kickers so special teams could make an impact. The return game for Ole Miss has been non-existent (for years).

I don't think Auburn's defense is good enough to consistently stop Ole Miss on offense. Auburn's offense won't be able to keep up.

This is to me the toughest test left on the Rebels schedule. No offense to the Aggies. The Tigers will have that stadium rocking. Hopefully Sanders is back because he opens the full offense up. Would be nice to have Mingo back of course but I don’t see that happening. Have to hit Nix a lot as well… That kid is a baller at home. This one is a toss up in my opinion…

Disagree. After the first quarter, Campbell played spy against Max Johnson due how much he was rolling out of the pocket, and it worked to perfection. Campbell playing spy will make it harder for Nix to make plays with his feet, which is a HUGE element of Nix's game. I'd argue letting Chance spy makes him even more dangerous.

No offense to the Tigers or Ags, but the Egg Bowl in Starkvegas is going to be a nail biter. State appears to be rounding into form too. I bet they give the Cats all they want and more this weekend.

It’s going to be a tough matchup for Auburn. I am glad it’s at home and I’m glad we had a bye week to prep.

The season seems to be taking a toll on Corral.

He’s having to do too much.

Seeing as we just had a bye week, Ole Miss is limping, Pappoe is set to come back, and it’s in JHS at night….. I will stick with my tigers. Good luck everyone who think Auburn won’t show up for this one.

No offense to Max Johnson, but Nix is a MUCH better runner.

Can't disagree. Nix's ability to create with his feet scares me. Best chance we have against y'all is for our D-Line to keep up the good play from the past two weeks (10 sacks, 2 forced fumbles in our past two games), and force Bo to make mistakes. Nix can still be hot-n-cold, so we have to hope that Nix plays cold.

Good luck Tigers. Should be a super competitive game.

AU should get it's two LBs back after the off week. First time both in the game since the first half of PSU Game. If AU can establish the run, it could be a long night for the Rebs with limited possessions.

Agreed

Pappoe will be a nice addition back on D. Gives us some speed.

Max Johnson has -3 yards rushing on the year.

I'm talking about how KJ Jefferson and Hooker was used. THAT is what I'm referring to when I say "mobile QB". Our defense just gets thrashed.
