Cohen absolutely didn't want Leach. He hated Leach. Too based for him. Leach was his last resort.
He was an abhorrent AD. Good baseball coach, dog shite AD. What he did to stifle our NIL fundraising should be criminal.

Still don’t really understand why State fired Moorhead.
He was 14-12 (7-9) in his two years at State. They would kill for that right now.
Also, the hire of Mike Leach was a good one

Wasn’t a win/loss thing with Moorhead. We had bad internal discipline issues with him. Players walked all over him.

Fairly certain it is an indicator that Durkin is the man and has to retain current staff, with potential exceptions approved by him as AD. Saves all the staff buyouts and complete overhaul for new staff, while holding current recruiting ties intact

Hell after they beat us in the Egg Bowl he told State fans that were calling for him to be fired to “pound sand”.
The last straw was when one of their defensive players punched and broke their starting QBs orbital bone in a bowl game practice.
