I looked at our demographics and most all of our students come from Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky.

Well, that's a lie.

Yes, Auburn has a ton of kids from Georgia (who they already play every year). But they have more from Texas than any other state he listed except Florida.

ETA - They have more students from China than they do from 47 US states, just barely edged out by Florida or it would be 48.

Im all for aubie heading out east. It's just stupid to expect Alabama to drop it's longest standing rivalry to let it happen

even remotely similar in terms of program success during that period.

I wasn't referring to that idiot, I was referring to the head to head vs. Bama in that time frame.

I have no idea why people want to move

LSU could match it with Florida and Auburn, but who would the rest of the West get as permanent opponents?
Cross division rivals, aside from TSIO and Auburn and Georgia, are just teams they threw together anyways. You could throw anyone against anyone and it wouldn't be any different.

Why didn't AU support Bama's proposal to go to 9 games?

The hell if I know. I would definitely support that proposal.

Easily accomplished with a 9 game schedule. Why did Jacobs vote against it?

When did he vote against it? Just curious. If it was recently, after this push for the move, I'd question his intentions for the move.

I'd be all for Auburn moving to the East but that means LSU fans have to go to Columbia, Missouri every other year Auburn can stay in the West

Huh? Jacobs said he wants Auburn and Bama to continue to play. We are their longest standing rivalry.

and for that to happen, bama would have stop playing the vols every year. Which is also a stupid thing to make them do

I know you're a Bama fan, but surely in your 1 semester at Wallace State Community College You learned enough about basic math and history to know that 1893 came before 1901?

....and the Iron Bowl took a 40 year break. This year marks the 100th game with UT.....that is more than we have played AU.

The statement wasn't "what game have you played the most". I guess reading comprehension isn't required to get into Wallace State
