Gilmore is a PAC-12 west coast homer. Don’t expect him to be pro SEC

I would think that the Aubies would be a bit more focused. Guess not.

I actually think they didn't overturn that TD because they were embarrassed to call back three TDs.

We aren't wearing anyone out. We had 9 rushing attempts

If we're talking about the announcer, then I agree.

This is the same dumbass who thought the we love Rod signs were for him at the last AU game he called.

Total legit-drive points by Gus’s offense in the 1st half: 7

That wasn’t his offense that scored it, it was a broken play

Auburn's playing like shite, but this guy is so pro-Minnesota it's beyond ridiculous

Every time Gilmore calls our games he’s pro-whoever the other team is. I don’t know why he hates Auburn but he does.

Our best offensive plays have been when the called play broke down and Bo went school yard. Gus' offense is frustrating.

That’s our strategery - keep em on the field and they’ll eventually run out of gas

Not watching the game, so can someone tell me what's up with the helmets? I read the story about the Sullivan tribute helmet and saw the clip of the KO with it being worn. But now I'm looking at highlight clips of everyone wearing the regular helmet. Were only select players wearing it?

Never mind...just saw a post saying the 7 is only on one side.

Pretty cool thing by Auburn.

This is why a converted DB has been one of our best quarterbacks this millennium. QBs can’t actually be a qb in Gus’ scheme and pure athleticism is all you need.

One side of helmet has a 7.

Other side has logo per usual.

Hasn’t helped us block or tackle.

Yeah, nothing's helping us do that today either.

We're both going to be the laughing stock of the SEC for making the B1G look good.

Unfortunately it appears that our tribute to Sully has extended to playing like we did in his final game in an AU uniform 48 years ago today

Neat thing to do. I like Bo Jackson a bunch, but my favorite Auburn players have always been Pat Sullivan and Terry Beasley.

We did not show them our stuff in the first half.

Gus is playing the long game.
Tire their offense out by allowing long drives coupled with 3 and outs by our offense.

Now Gus will break out the fancy stuff. Going to run all 5 plays in the third quarter.

This game is exposing Auburn’s main glaring weakness, namely that this team simply cannot block. And it’s not just the o-line that can’t block, receivers and backs can’t block either. It’s a fundamental systemic problem that permeates the entire team. And this is a reflection of the coaching staff that after a complete regular season and bowl preparation poor blocking is seen from all positions on the offense.

Bottom line is Gus spends too much time focusing on teaching his scheme and not enough time on football fundamentals like blocking.
