I see that worst poster nomination really has you triggered. It'll be ok, Irons Puppet. You can still blame "the cult" for how bad you suck after it's over. Expectations are low. Auburn will be fantastic this year! Seriously, they almost always do well with a new coach. Look at Bowden's first year and Gus's first year.

I say 11-1 regular season. With a loss to UGA or Bama.

When Auburn played LSU close in 2019, I said Auburn would beat Alabama or UGA that year and got laughed at by everyone, including Auburn fans. Well, they beat Bama that year.

Auburn does very poorly with high expectations and very very well when people are overlooking them.

I got auburn going 8-4 or 9-3

Auburn could have the best defense and special teams in the SEC this year. They also return boat loads of experience.

Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Miss State have 1 combined win vs Auburn the last 3 years and most of those players are still on Auburn's roster.

Harsin is addition by subtraction, and will have our team better prepared for the season.

can somebody tell us how LSU got suddenly better with an OC and DC who has never coached a game as coordinator in the SEC?

but Auburn wont do well because, their head coach isnt from the south...

LSU, Texas A&M, and Penn State are all winnable games in my opinion. I know they are all on the road, but I will disappointed if we aren't able to win any of those games. LSU is breaking in a whole new staff and got absolutely handled by Auburn last year. Texas A&M has a new QB and entirely new OL and we were one dropped INT/deflected pass straight to the A&M WR from winning that game last year. Penn State was bad last year and has a QB just as inconsistent as Bo.

Gus never got blown out by LSU, A&M, or any of our out-conference games despite his very predictable and conservative offensive scheme the past few years. The talent gap isn't insurmountable in those matchups by any means and if Harsin wants to prove himself and get this program going in the right direction he needs to win at least one of these games.

The real question is did we actually upgrade coaching this year, because we all know Gus would go 7-5 or 8-4 with this team like he did every year.
