Hell, last time I was posting during an Auburn game and I was in town I offered to buy a drink for anyone who found me at the bar I was at.

They'll be more experienced which will help. But, new OC, new DC, new QB and the teams that they lost too are still on the schedule, I don't think they gain 14 to 28 points in one offseason to beat any of them.

Much more experienced team with a healthy defensive line that is finally able to compete in the SEC. The season will depend upon the offensive line and how it develops, last year the OL sucked and it tanked the season. I'm guessing 8-9 wins this year outside shot at 10 wins.

Only reason I pick us being bama is I hate predicting us losing to them just feels like I'm a bad fan doing that . Honestly I think we go 8-4 maybe 9-3. I don't understand why people see us losing to MSU or A&M. The games have been close with MSU but they still can't break through and beat us and next year they won't be as strong while we return a lot of guys. A&M loses a ton of talent and I just don't see them winning in Jordan Hare.

It all comes down to OL, DL, and QB play. If all those improve then even if we lose they should at least be battles. I'm excited about this season as there is a lot of potential with this team which is nice

QB play and OLine is the end all be all for the 2012 edition of the AU tigers. If everyone crowds the box due to ineffective QB play...

Happened in 2011, and we still won 8 games... If it happened again this year, I say we would win 1 more game based soley on having a better defense and more experienced team.

I'm saying 7-5 at best and 4-8 at worst.

New DC =/= Better Defense...
Not saying you won't be better but I'd expect some growing pains. You'll also have the patented Martinez defensive backs. Poor tackling, soft covering, deep play susceptible pieces of shite.

A 1-4 start looks possible, if not likely
I think 7-5 or 6-6 looks about right overall

Last year they were predicting 4-8, 5-7. I am just speechless at the stupidity.

No, we finished 8-5. Not 6-6, not 5-7. 8-5. Deal with it.

I realize that. I'm just saying a 5-7 prediction for the regular season wasn't far fetched looking at it in hindsight

It pretty much was far fetched. It was off by 3 games.

Indeed it was, but if Utah State and Miss State win like they easily could have then the people who predicted 5-7 would have been right. I'm just saying the people that predicted that aren't idiots.

Disclaimer: I was not one of them

I think 9-3 is a real possibility, with the losses coming to LSU, Arky, & Bama. Only reason I'm saying Arky is cause of Wilson. I think we'll take care of UGA at home.
