Auburn is the better team but swamp is difficult place to play when it’s hot as hell.
(I think it’s smell of all the guys in their Jorts and tank tops that eventually lingers and sets up on the field, together with the heat and humidity, that creates a putrid “Swamp Gas” that takes energy away from teams late.) it’s kinda like being stuck on a ride at Disney world with a bunch of hairy guys from Spain when it’s 96 degrees. (The real reason they tore down 20,000 leagues under the sea. It reaked.)

That wasn't a tiger...it was a jaguar; and, that wasn't an alligator...it was a caiman, which is much, much smaller than a gator. Just sayin...

Agreed. You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone in the National Media this week that thinks UF has a shot in this game.

Exactly...national media had us running all over Notre Dame, too, and what a wipeout that would be.

Gators will be fine.

I really don't see anyway dem Auburn baws don't roll away from Gainesville with the W. Florida hasn't faced a defense like theirs all year and I know their fanbase hasn't exactly been thrilled with their offensive performance this season... especially on the line. The Auburn dline should eat all day.

Don’t see how you can compare them statistically when Auburn’s competition thus far has been far superior.

Sure you can. However, I'm allowing for that, especially on the O side of the ball.

The crowd could be the X factor here...AU will not have played in an environment like the Swamp so far and this'll be a new experience for all of those players. Trust me, Notre Dame can tell you just how much a raucous crowd can do to you on the field---it was national newsworthy---and I'm thinking Florida's crowd is going to try and take a cue from our game against ND and do as much as they can to make it difficult on Auburn's O. It could be very troublesome for the Tigers.

Therefore, I'm calling for a close, low-scoring battle with UF coming out on top by a smidgen. It's going to be a great game, though.

I agree, but likely to be a Barn burner.

Funny that AU fans don't mention anything about OUR DEFENSE?? As if their defense is the only thing that matters. We have 24 sacks, 2nd in TFLs and way up in rankings for total defense, passing defense especially.

Don't you think our defense is getting angry about no one talking about them? We get 2 of our best defenders back. Zuniga and CJ Henderson. Seth Williams will be covered like white on rice. Double team and double steamed. We aint letting him push off our DBs like he has done a lot of with other teams.

Baby Nix will be wearing Zuniga's and Greenard's cologne Saturday night. He also will find out about our 6'6" rush end Jermemiah Moon...who was just named SEC defender of the week.

Y'all best stay away from TV or radio to avoid heartbreak city. Oh....you will be fooled early on when you have a slight lead in the second half and then cry like hell when we beat you. We are a 4th qt team and we love games when we have to score late to win.

Those Hoover boys do well for Florida, you're welcome

But anyway, that's cool. Nix was just named SEC Freshman of the week, and Mike Horton was just named SEC Offensive Lineman of the week

I think it will be pretty close. MSUs defensive line was really bad, which made Auburn's mediocre offensive line look really good. That allowed our offense to do anything it wanted to. It won't be the same against the Gators. I think it will be a relatively low scoring game. Maybe 24-21.

Your HC finally pulled his head out of his arse and he's scheming to help his oline.

Gus is helping an average oline full of seniors by making great calls and keeping the defense confused and in disarray. You also have a QB who isn't making costly mistakes and he can use his legs.

Tell me what I said is incorrect. Have you faced a defense like auburn's all year? Has your oline play been shite to start the year?

I think the swamp is a good bit more imposing than Kyle, but that was certainly a good one to intro Nix to a hostile environment.
