My stat sheet only shows 5 fumbles. 3 of them lost.

ETA: but Auburn does lead the SEC in fumbles forced with 7. Along with being second in the SEC with 7 INTs.

With LSU near the bottom of the conference with 8 turnovers lost, does that worry you that you're playing one of the best defensive teams in the country at the ability to turn the ball over?

I got my stats from Saturday Down South.

I would say a majority of our turnovers have come from the quarterback we are replacing.

I am still concerned with a true freshman quarterback giving the ball away. Hopefully he can limit that.

I'm not sure beating LSU will give us any indication if they've gotten "better" or not. I'm not 100% sold that LSU is better than KSU at this stage.

Why has fumbling been such an issue for you guys? 9 fumbles so far this season.

Au has 5 fumbles this season.

LSU has 10.

Who has the problem?

Not very accurate. Got a link?

Nope.

Jennings: 3 INTs, 1 Fumble lost
Harris: 1 INT, 1 Fumble lost
Dural: 1 Fumble lost
Hillard: 1 Fumble lost

Jennings: 1 INT every 27.7 attempts
Harris: 1 INT every 30 attempts

Jennings: 1 Fumble lost every 38 rush attempts
Harris: 1 Fumble lost every 16 rush attempts

Looks like Harris is more turnover prone than Jennings. Based off the stats that is.

I think they are just throwing random guesses on stats and thinking they are correct

Well, you know what stats are? Numbers. Do those numbers tackle? Do those numbers throw the ball? Do those numbers mix the gatorade? Did those numbers bomb pearl harbor?

I'm not sure if we have a misunderstanding but Auburn scored a touchdown in the first quarter. I dont want to say "fail" yet but you're going to make some clarification.

I would take a interception away from Harris due to the fact that it was on a hailmary pass. The fumble is a bit disconcerting though.

Here is where I got the 9 fumble stat from:

" Thanks to some good fortune, Auburn is only losing 22 percent of their fumbles this season. However, they’ve put the ball on the ground nine times already, something LSU’s defense should be excited about. The Bayou Bengals’ opponents have fumbled 10 times through five games, with LSU recovering six times."

In your opinion, has Auburn drastically improved on defense, offense, and special teams since playing K-State?

You do realize winning @ KSU is a big deal right? many have ventured there only to return with a L.

I'm simply asking if you guys have noticed a dramatic and notable improvement since the game.

We've played one game since then. We handily beat La Tech. There's not too much to take from that.

If I've learned anything about the first month or so of college football seasons, it's that you really can't glean anything from the week/s before. We'll probably know more about our team after this Saturday, but it's there's really no way to tell if we've improved between K St and La Tech.

Though, I can only imagine we'll play better at night at home in a big game as opposed to on the road at K St on a Thurs night in K St's biggest game in years.
