but LSU may have found some offensive spark with Harris last night.

He will make some mistakes, but LSU will score some points on Auburn. It should be a good game. LSU matches up well with Auburn, although few realize that. Marshall is no Prescott. LSU will single up the corners with White/Robinson/Collins.......and sell out for the run and make marshall beat them passing. Also, expect to see Beckwith MUCH more this week, and that in itself will help shore up the middle.

LMAO the last time Auburn beat LSU was 2010.

It was obvious LSU would have growing pains this year. They're over.......................... and the Tigers, of LSU, will send notice.

37 LSU
23 Auburn

I honestly have NO clue where our team stands at this point. We are, by nature, a negative bunch (as a fanbase) and I won't deny that...but it's truly hard to tell. I have never actually felt like we would lose a game at any point this year thus far..but LSU-AU is always an unknown. Yesterday our team was sleepwalking for a half, then came out and 'did work son'. But you cna't do that against any team in the SEC West this year, period. Sorry for being a sometimes 'rational' fan on here (I know it's frowned upon on the SECr) but I admit Miles has owned our teams in the past. We'll see in less than a week. I would say I hope for a good game but I never wish that. I always hope for AU to blow every opponent out of the stadium...but I do hope for no injuries.
TL;DR - I have no fuggin clue what will happen Saturday, but I sho' hope we win

The line started at Auburn - 7 1/2. It has jumped to between 8 1/2 - 9 1/2...depending on which book you use.

If history is any indication the game will be decided at the end when the referee calls a penalty on an LSU guy for falling into his own teammate on an extra point. Alternatively, an obvious pass interference on Auburn at the end of the game won't get called because the ball was uncatchable after the LSU receiver was taken out of the play. The Auburn players will then drive to Baton Rouge and enjoy cigars in the center of tiger stadium while defacing (in various ways) the LSU eye of the tiger. LSU fans will get partial revenge by lobbing ziplock bags of urine at the Auburn bus. Am I missing anything?

Why shouldn't we have confidence, what has it been 6 out of 7? The one loss being @cam in 2010, losing in the final few minutes.

LSU matches up well with Auburn, and with Harris and Beckwith taking over, this team is getting stronger. Will LSU win....dunno, but go ahead and just assume you will run over LSU. Again, I love the matchup.

As for the decline...apparently you haven't seen all the true freshmen playing vital roles. This team will get better throughout the season, and the next 2 years, barring injury, will be some special years....haven't given up on this year yet either fwiw...will know a lot more after Saturday.

Yes, yes they do.

LSU is made for spreads. See auburn last year and a&M the last few years. If you had a qb that could beat you passing, that would be different...you don't. LSU will simply single up the wr's with outstanding corners, and then sell out on the run. Look, you may win, but you are going to be in a hell of a game. You guys haven't looked as good as you think this year, and were honestly very fortunate to beat K State.....I honestly expect LSU to win this game, based upon matchups. There are other SEC teams that give LSU more problems matchup wise.

See Miss. St. this year. This is not a typical LSU D. This D can not live off of years past. It obviously isn't.

This right here... Lsu's D is weak this year and isn't like the previous few years... Marshall, CAP, and Duke finna eat!

Miss st has a strong power run game that I'm not sure Auburn possesses.

If Harris starts I say LSU wins in a shootout. I don't think we can stop AU, but I believe that with Harris at QB we can score on Aubie.
