re: This game will define Les as a coach

With all due respect, the same thing was said in the aftermath of Bama in '10, then completely spun the other way against Bama in the NC game in '11. Let's just say Les is hard to pigeonhole.

In the past two games, Mississippi State and New Mexico State. And the stat, technically speaking, would be 77 to 7. Mississippi State did not score for the final minutes of the game when Harris was in.
As far as the offense is concerned, LSU has scored touchdowns on 12 of 15 possessions with Harris under center, 2 out of 3 times against an SEC opponent.

I don't want to argue with a Georgia fan. It's like arguing with your nice Mormon buddy.

Yes, we lost to Moo St. You lost to the other USC, who promptly lost to Mizzou. YOU GTFO. You ever wonder why Georgia receives such little negative attention on this board? It's because you are, and always will be, a non-factor. And to your lackey friends who repeated what you just said, nice job being redundant.

I was going to edit my post, but I've changed my mind. You are literally the dumbest person I've come across on this board.

The Auburn defense this coming Saturday.

You almost lost to Tennessee. You lost to South Carolina. Get over yourselves.

I'm knot curtain if he nos what you are referring tooooo.
BTW: for you Auburn and Alabama fans, this was a pejorative statement made in jest, referring to something an Alabama fan "knew" about.
Feel free to make your perfunctory slander anytime now. I like words with P's in it.

You could argue that but you would be wrong.
re: How can LSU get rid of its trashy fans?

Oh my. Those are some unique words there, fella. Don't worry. I'm not being tacky or critical. I just found it amusing.
Beckwith, Jones and Alexander, young Def. Linemen

I say keep those three aforementioned names in the starting lineup at linebacker and use Welter as a backup. Nothing obvious here, to this point. Was it just me or did the freshman d linemen look pretty good tonight? Hmm...That may solve some interior line problems we have. I think we're fine on the ends with Hunter and Rasco. Maybe CLM should play these younger freshmen more. And soon?
As an LSU fan, I say hats off to Mississippi State and Dak Prescott...

Prescott grew up in NW Louisiana and he's a great person. A lot of fans here in the Shreveport/Bossier area are highly sympathetic to him.
LSU fans should show a little class and congratulate MSU for ending the drought. I was at the game and stayed till the very end. As a fan, I'm a little embarrassed by the lack of support over the last quarter of the game. LSU fans should encourage each other to stay the entire game, no matter what. Even if they don't like what LM is doing at the time. For those who left, they missed Brandon Harris' entrance to the SEC, and one heck of a performance by our young quarterback.

This isn't 2007, its 2014 and Miss State is better than LSU.
That's true. Mississippi State's run game was too strong for our defense, and with Jennings at the helm, we literally ran straight into the strength of their defense for 90 percent of the game. Mississippi State is a good team. LSU will get better this year, but they have too many deficiencies. I think State is deficient at DB, as they got exposed by a younger, more talented QB in Brandon Harris (who singlehandedly rejuvenated the entire offensive unit). Hats off to both Mississippi State and particularly to Dak Prescott. I hope they do well this year.

re: That throw that Harris made to Dural on the sideline with :20 seconds left

Dang right. I was at the game until the end. What was left of Tiger Stadium saw something special that night. Brandon Harris is our starter, right now. Anthony Jennings is our backup. You are absolutely right. After the second touchdown was thrown, the game was definitely "afoot". He made better decisions, keeping his head up the field and looking for second and third options, while making better throws as well. He gives himself more time to throw due to his elusiveness. The kid can flat play. Right now. With him as starter now, we will be a more competitive team THIS YEAR. Period.
