True, The problem MSU is facing is, he is clearly a MSU booster under the definition and there is no peaches workaround for that
Didn't Kenny help land Cam at Blinn, so the relationship was already there. Kenny=Cam/Cecil's Agent

This is what cracked me up about the entire thing. Auburn came out clean yet MSU disassociated a booster and had the FBI interview everyone from MSU's side and yet Auburn was the center of attention.
hmmmmm. . . .what could it be. . . .why would the allegations around Cam's recruitment possibly have focused on Auburn. . . .hmmmmmmmm. . . . .
MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE THE KID WHO WAS ASKING FOR MONEY ENDED UP ACTUALLY GOING TO AUBURN.
I'm not sure about that, just saying maybe.

See Kenny Smith and Alabama.

if they were invesigating Auburn, shouldn't they be interviewing Auburn people who were involved in Cam's recruitment, like Trooper and Malzahn who recruited Cam? How many people affliliated with Auburn have they interviewed? What kind of backwards investigation involves not interviewing anyone?

Waiting on Coonass, I'm sure he know's. I thought I heard it/read it somewhere.

This is the NCAA, they do it their way, and then punish whoever they want, what can you do?

One thing I never understood is how did Kenny Rogers know to contact Bill Bell for money unless they have done this before?
They both stated that they didn't know each other before that didn't they?

People seem to forget that Means was not the only one in the 2002 rulling, I believe Bama was punished for another recruit as well that never went to bama

The last two weeks it was Bama going down, now it goes back to us. I'm seeing a pattern here.
To moe, it looks like Auburn has major issues going on so your rivals/scout writers are trying to make the media look another way.

It happened to us. The NCAA said we paid Kenny Smith who signed with UT instead.

LOL!!! This I love!!!
If that were the case drop the HAMMER on MSU. However, it's not even close to what has been stated or reported.
I think you are just trying to get a response out of MSU fans, but just in case you are serious...
1- You are "operating" under a belief of yours, not what was actually reported. What was reported was that the Newtons were on an OFFICIAL visit. On such visits, it is not a violation for a coach to meet with prospects on an official visit.
There was no "brokering" deal. What was reported was that Rogers/Cecil mentioned it and the coaches stopped them stating "we don't want to hear that". That's not brokering a deal. That's being approached and turning them down.
2- You are saying that Rogers knew who to call. I'm sure you are mistaken considering that Rogers, Cecil, and Cam were all turned in by those Rogers and Cecil approached. You are stating that Rogers called Bell.. Not 100% true. He contacted Bond first... then Bell.
3- If a system were in place, then I would think MSU would have gotten Cam.
4- If there were a system in place I would think that those involved would keep their mouths shut, not turn it in.
Just my opinion, and that coupled with $1 will get you a cheese burger at McDonalds..

MSU fans are just as delusional if you don't think it harms MSU that your former players were out brokering P4P deals with the parents (Cecil) of prospective recruits (Cam).

of course they did...Kenny must have some huge balls to call a man he doesn't know and ask him for $180,000. "Hey total stranger, can I have $180,000 to buy a player for our alma mater? Thank you Mr. Stranger, we'll take it in installments." Do you really believe Kenny would ask a total stranger for $180,000? How did he get this total stranger's phone number?

yet they have interview 3 former State players. Were they asking these players if they knew Trooper and Malzahn? Or asking these former State players about Auburn recruitment of Cam? I'm not following this Auburn investigation method. If they are investigating Auburn, do they think they will find about about Auburn recruitment of Cam from former State playeres?
