LSU probably covers. I do think Auburn will be competitive for 2-3 quarters before LSU breaks it open though.

AU's young QB will have big problems in Tiger Stadium. Kids only been in CFB 5 weeks according to TV announcers. Guessing AU will keep the offense pretty simple.

My concern is our offensive line. But I agree with you.

Nick played juco but in front of smaller crowds. Haha.

he spent a year at UGA and a year at JUCO... it's not like he's a true freshman. Yes, he's only been at Auburn for 2 months, but he's been in "CFB" since 2011.

A good defensive stat for AU thus far has been 0 points in the 4th and only 1 TD in the second half this season.

Marshall showed a lot of spunk to come back like he did with the game on the line Sat night. And I like that frosh WR Davis a lot too - he stepped up and made the catches in the clutch.

No, they said he has only been at AU for 5 weeks.

EJ making good adjustments at the half.

Ellis seems to be making good second half adjustments.

This. It was good to see and I am excited about Davis. He actually looks like a receiver...

I think we break 20 points honestly. We will certainly have some 3 and outs, but our offense is explosive enough and Gus is creative enough to get the D in some really bad situations several times a game. We will get at least 1 TD where the defense is completely fooled and out of position.

So I think we score in the 20's. Question will be whether our defense can hold LSU to field goals or if LSU gets TDs when they get in the red zone as LSU will likely move the ball well.

It was pretty clear watching the first half that we were not fully prepared for Prescott at QB... we played him much better in the 2nd half.

but this will be far and away the biggest test our secondary has faced, to date.... our first three opponents were pretty average at the WR position... LSU has legit weapons on the outside, and a QB who can get them the ball.

I think this is our hardest game of the year.

That's a good line. I'm gonna probably stay away from it. I think LSU will come out playing pretty good, but I have no idea how we will look in the first half. We have played pretty good ball in the second half this year. We need to have a good first quarter to have any kind of chance.

OK. My bad. Announcers gave the impression he didn't have much experience.

Didn't think I was going to agree with this, but after the lack of rushing against MSU, I am a little concerned.
