The AU melt in this thread is so on brand.
Auburn doesn't have to melt. They weren't expected to be in the game and it took 2 miracle plays for Bama to win. Now yall are getting ready for a playoff game and still need to feel better about your team by rehashing a hail mary catch you made against Auburn. Then come back with "it's Auburn melting" because they make fun of it.

I appreciate your optimism but I disagree. We win in spite of him because he is surrounded with good talent. I'm sure he has a good attitude but he'll never make it in the NFL. I hope Sayin over takes him this spring, but Saban will never allow that to happen.

Some of you simply will not change your opinion of Milroe no matter what he does. Early in the year, yes, he was arse. But his growth since then has been extremely impressive. Is he going to be the best QB of the Saban era? Probably not, but he hasn't played himself from being benched early this season to being the Heisman frontrunner going into next season simply because he's surrounded with good talent. He has quietly turned into a pretty damn good college QB.

As for your comment about Saban being too stubborn to start Sayin over an incumbent Milroe even if it were to turn out Sayin is the better QB, you're off base there because he's already done exactly that when he benched Hurts to start Tua in 2018.

See, you literally can’t help yourself.

I laughed at the fact that Joel laughed at the play. Laughing at your rival when they’re randomly brought up isn’t “trying to feel better about your team,” especially when most of the analysts including Klatt, Pate, etc. and 90% of the early money (typically professional bettors) are picking Bama. Maybe we win, maybe we don’t…but that literally has nothing to do with the fact that Klatt laughed at your coaches today.

You act like I’ve been posting about AU for a month, when my post history clearly shows I spend very little time thinking about AU football. That one just caught me off guard and was too funny not to post. It’s really not hard, don’t try to create narratives that don’t exist and you won’t look like you are melting.

You should post again and show us all how little Bama fans care about Auburn

You still proved my point. You started this thread about Auburn and then responded with "it's Auburn melting". You can't change the fact you started the thread about Auburn and got made fun of for it.

lol…the posts after kick 6 vs. 4th and 31 tell the story about who cares about who. We’ve got bigger things to worry about. I’m sorry Joel hurt your feelings today, Leto.

Apparently not
Cntrl-Alt-Delete dusted off an old alter to spam the board about Auburn.
Bama is nothing without Auburn. It’s ok to admit it.

FIFY…it’s probably the one good thing I can say about AU, they have been a very small thorn in the side of us trying to ruin CFB with pure domination. Congrats…I guess?

If Saban is the GOAT then it is because he coaches at the last football factory in America. At UAT Saban has an unlimited budget for overall payroll, NIL, recruiting, gold-plated facilities and most importantly no pushback from the admissions office or the Bama administration. Bama football is only vaguely associated with the University of Alabama and for all intents it is a totally autonomous organization. The drive-thru window guy at McDonald's could win 9-10 games every year at Bama.

It’s a combination of a lot of things. Saban came in at the right time at Alabama; the fans wanted a winner and dedicated recruiter and Shula, who walked into an impossible situation in 2003, actually left some good pieces to work with.

You could never understand being a Bama fan. This is just another year of domination for us. We still can enjoy laughing at the wanna be schools because it’s not a once in a lifetime event.

SoFla, it's a matter of degree and how much a school's administration will prostitute itself just to win BIG in college sports. UAT decided a hundred years ago that football was much easier and cheaper to bring notoriety and acclaim to campus via football than academic achievement. The much more harder and expensive and not as parade ready as football was the improvement of diets, promoting soil conservation, increasing the quality of housing, preventing sickness and providing food and fiber to people and industry. There is a reason(s) that Bill Curry, Mike Dubose, Mike Shula won so many games and championships at UAT however were not successful at any other school. It may be a short list but Saban would not have similar success he has had at Bama at: GA Tech, Purdue, Northwestern, CAL, NC State, VA Tech, West Point, Vanderbilt, Miss State, Kansas et al. Saban is a fine football coach and may be a terrific person but if he is the GOAT then it is because he coaches at Bama the last true football factory in America.

The defensive call was the correct one. The safety went for the dig route instead of helping the corner on the double team as he was suppose to. Great throw and catch.
Big brother Big Al likes to take the stairs, Aubie prefers the elevator. Guess we are raised different!
