I think there was a violation of team rules and he didn’t have the option to come back.
With that being said Tony Fair, the UAB transfer looks like he will start at NT and has been very impressive in camp even compared to some of the veterans on our dline. This is probably the most talent and depth in recent memory across all levels of Auburn’s defense.

He’s a serviceable SEC defensive lineman.
He’s not going to be all-SEC, but he’s a guy who can be in the rotation.
Sorry to lose him. Always need a bunch of bodies on the defensive line. He was solid.

Not really when you factor the transfers in. The cull is normal on most all coaching changes.

His point was you didn’t bash the guy hence he has wine to get rid of. I took it as a compliment to Auburn fans.
