Indeed, a few Ags have announced they intend to transfer.
That’s also the case at a handful of other programs (sample below).
And with the calendar not even hitting December of yet, more players will assuredly make known similar plans.

Has Elko identified any targets for the OC hire? Or have their been any leaks of potential targets?

Your guess is as good as anyone’s, tho I don’t think any leaks matter much regardless.
He may be waiting until after the bowl games are played, in the event he’s going after someone who’s currently prepping for a game.

FWIW Elko took 47 days to fill out his staff at Duke.

Since QBs aren’t credited with Ws/Ls (i.e., baseball pitchers), that’s tough to answer. Multiple QBs played in most of our games.

Weigman started the first four games until he was injured. During that stretch we beat New Mexico, ULM, and Auburn (the game Conner started but broke his ankle mid-way through) and lost to Miami.

Johnson started the next five games (Arkansas (W), Alabama (L), Tennessee (L), South Carolina (W), Ole Miss (L)).

Henderson started in the wins v State and ACU. Reed also saw PT in both of those games. Henderson played the entire game in the loss to LSU.

A backup QB and a WR who never saw the field. Yawn.

Definitely not ughh territory—tho Max (and family) are stellar people. I wish them nothing but amazing things.

Admittedly I know nothing about WR Raymond Cottrell, but at one point he committed to Texas A&M University. For that reason I hope he lands someplace that’s good to him.

We’ll undoubtedly lose a few more and maybe even snag a few from the portal ourselves. That’s the name of the game I guess.

I think so, for the most part. Losing Noodle Arm Noodle Brain Johnson is something no team in the Power 5 would ever think twice about.
