Still. There is no way in hell they spent 48 mil.

Maybe 20 or 25.

Sarge, why do you post without a shred of evidence?

And even if you are correct, of all the college programs atm went all in on the first nil class and busted then had to buy jimbo out for $70 million+.

Just saying an aggie might want to sit this one out lol

They definitely did. Lots of high priced talent on that team that didn’t make the playoffs

I thought you aggies have been telling the sec how rich you are.

aggy is indeed well off financially, they prefer however, to allocate the lion's share of their money to paying former coaches and their staff.

Texas' roster cost 48 million for 1 year?

No way. Where did they spend all the money?

The roster last yr was much better.

The majority of numbers you see related to NIL are bogus

Op, I am very skeptical of all NIL numbers that are thrown around. I don't believe any school is gonna let the total number be publicized and they may not even know the total number.

I expect there are probably 10 SEC schools with boosters putting huge dollars into football NIL. We now have a situation where I expect a solid 4 star can probably graduate college with $700K - $800K in the bank if they are careful with their money.
