If it were Saban on tape discussing said payments, I'd agree with you.

Its the same thing. Allegations have been made. Whats wrong with wanting an explanation before jumping to any drastic conclusions?

Just curious who let out a little exhale when they read the list and their school wasn't on it?

And I don't see where any of the exceptions apply.

you don't?

(3) a blatant disregard for certain fundamental rules (recruiting, extra benefits, academics, ethical conduct)

Not saying the NCAA will do anything, but the listed exceptions are essentially a catch-all for almost anything regarding impermissible benefits

agreed

And if Wade were on tapes discussing payments, I'd say the same thing.

This guy

An LSU head coach is on tape talking about paying players. I couldn’t care less and I’m glad he didn’t get in trouble. But you’re being ridiculous.

it's already been discussed. There are a bunch of exceptions to that 4 year SOL. I don't expect the NCAA do do much, if anything with this, but if they wanted to hammer someone for paying players, they'll find an exception in that SOL very easily.

The NCAA also has a "clear and convincing" evidence standard. But that didn't stop everyone here from saying the NCAA would't need any hard proof of a payment to destroy Wade and the LSU program.

Here are the facts

A.There have been media leaks of certain segments of a supposed tape of Wade talking about strong arse offers

B. There is a person under oath incriminating his own self saying he paid Bama football players

No matter how many laughing emojis you would like to post, there is far greater proof Bama broke NCAA rules

Saban wouldn’t do this. He wins naturally, with fair recruiting
