In his defense, would you want to talk about how David Ash will save the Texas program? Life is tough on the 40 Acres right now.

Aside from texas fans and a few disgruntled LSU fans, I don't think that's accurate. College football needs Manziel. Yeah I'm a homer, but I think most want to see him play.

What matters is whether or not he'll get away with it. Right now it seems likely that he will.

Anthony "Freak" Johnson says his anus stays ready. Johnny Turnover can give the breakdowns on taste and texture.

No, sorry but college football does not need an arrogant player like JM. There are a lot of other stars out there to show case NCAA football. All he's done is bring shame to a great sport & university. Wanting to see him play is one thing, college football needing him is one hell of a different thing all together. By this time next yr, his name won't even come up in any of the preseason chatter. Just another star who flamed out, my guesstimate.

I agree completely with waht Keltic Tiger said, college football doesn't need JFF. In fact it would have greater impact if he was shown that he is not above the rules. It could have more impact on future players to watch him sit. But with that said I for one want him to play. I do think he is guilty, but I don't think he is the only one to ever do it. If I were someone like Ohio State I would be more upset if he got cleared, but I want to see what he can do on the field. I really don't want to sit here and hear about the "season that could have happened". I don't think they are a nation title type of team but I think they will win a lot of games. 10-2 with 8-4 without. I think with the year to see him play teams will make some adjustments to get him out of rhythm. But if he plays like he did in the cotton bowl the aggies will be tough, even with a few holes in the defense.

I said think, I didn't say know. If I had said I know then I would have proof. Its my personal opinion like a majority of the country outside college station, but who cares. I am sure he will play and I am sure he will do well. You take all this to personal. I have a ton of friends that are aggies and they think he probably did it too, just like Cam probably took money. But until someone proves it let him play.

JFF = / = Cam

Cam supposedly took money to sway his decision on where to play

JFF *might* have taken money for his own signature (though, there is no proof and the accusing groups and reporters are f'ing shady at best)

If I was an SEC fan prior to 2012, i'd be pissed too if some 5'10 185lb white kid came in and led the league in rushing, and won the heisman his freshman year.

How long have you been watching sports?

Many of the most elite NCAA and NFL players of all time also fall into the category of being some of the most arrogant bastards out there. It just comes with the territory, and the reality is that its message board posters like yourself who contribute to a 330+ page thread about him, along with networks like ESPN who insist on putting him on TV every single day and on the cover of over 25 different magazines that contributes to his arrogance.

You want some choir boy to watch on Saturdays, enroll in KSU and join the Collin Klein fan club.

WTF? Aside from texas fans and a few disgruntled LSU fans, I don't think that's accurate. College football needs Manziel. Yeah I'm a homer, but I think most want to see him play.

We held him in check last year and will do so again. Most all LSU fans want him to play to keep pressure on Bama.

You guys are getting bama like delusional. We play Florida Bama UGA Ole Miss U and TCU this year. Whether he plays or not means shite to us. Bama fans are who is worried about playing him in game 2 of the season with their giant but slower Dline.

You guys are SEC babies so we can let it slide for now but you have no idea what evil lurks in the heart of the SEC offices and what awaits you.

Who the hell do you think narced JFF out? Hint: It wasn't LSU fans.

In case you didn't know. And this site is an LSU site that expanded to allow others in as our fanbase always liked good take and give with other fanbases and half the crap that gets posted here gets you banned from those sites. So you are going to have more LSU fans here as the site was originally just Tigerdroppings.

I for one enjoy watching him play. Its one thing to have all the measurables and be the next great thing. He has done it all on underrated talent and effort. Its great to see someone like that succeed that isn't the prototypical qb. He just needs to get his head straight outside of football. If nothing else stop putting yourself in compromising positions. He needs a better support group around him. But at 20 years old we all did.

Bama like delusional: Firm belief that your team should beat every other team including teams in NFL by at least 30 points every week and is in a different plane of existence. When loss does occur it is always due to mistakes made by your team as it is not possible that anyone ever outplays or is better than your team, and results in mass suicides. For example see Paul Finebaum's show Legend, Jim from trussville, etc

Manziel is very unpredictable. This has to drive Saban crazy because he like to account for everything. (Just like when Les is Mad Hatter.)

That almost gives them a chance.
