Imagine A&M beats Bama and neither team loses from there on out. A&M forfeits. Bama goes to the SEC CG and wins another Natty.
At this point though I would say the odds of nothing happening are about 95%. No way that Sharp went out that far on a limb when he didn't need to without being sure he wouldn't regret it, dude is a career politician. It's pretty clear Johnny will play against Rice as well so that means it will be a forfeit situation and I don't think A&M would risk that nor does the NCAA want that.
Unless some hard evidence comes out I think this thing is dead. Oh, and the "Aggie Honor Code" crap is ridiculous. What "Honor Code" was violated? It looks like Johnny is going to be found innocent and even if he is guilty there is no evidence he has lied, cheated, or stolen. He would have taken some money for autos. Doesn't look like there is any proof of that though other that the word of a broker that won't talk to anyone now, had reason to hate Johnny for the Johnny Football trademark that shut down his business for 2 weeks, and who's story is full of holes.

AM is simply taking a page out of the Auburn playbook.
They are calling the NCAA out - saying if you cannot prove it it does not exist
AM may know the truth but like most universities they will gamble on the truth to win it all

The next toughest game for both schools is LSU and then Ole Miss. Certainly not predicting both schools to win but it's not as though it is an impossible dream for either. At the end of last year both A&M and Bama certainly ended on a higher note and LSU has an awful lot to replace this season on D.

A&M has shown no interest in convincing anyone with an IQ over 80 they they have removed doubt that JFF violated rules and was paid in 1 form or another. What they have succeeded in up to now is a legal stonewall. Sharp, as you say, is a good politician and like most Aggies, has no real desire to know the truth about this situation. Where is the affidavit from Johnny stating that he never took money for the autographs? How do you explain JFF telling the broker that "he never saw him"?
The truth is that A&M, has no interest in finding the truth. And that is fine with me. I just simply wish that you guys would admit that the Tyler Turd, an offspring of the Manziel Mafia, who has a history of shoplifting, lieing, drinking, and an unquenchable thirst for attention that can only be rivaled by the Karsashians, is leading you and the University around by the nose. As long as he wins, there is no ceiling on the amount of embarrassment that will be tolerated by Aggies. And you know there are more landmines that have yet to be stepped on with this character. Just don't turn on him too harshly when it happens - he might walk out on you.

At least he doesn't sit and watch while his teammate buddy sexually assualts a woman in San Antonio.
But seriously, The exact same reporters from ESPN who printed (in a court of law) proven false allegations without any merit during the Leach firing, as well as the Cam Newton scandal, are pushing this story with Manziel. That doesn't give you the slightest pause in regards to believing their accusations?

the truth is you have no idea what the hell you are talking about and are a really sad individual for keeping up your attacks.
I mean damn, can you find something else to talk about besides A&M and politics? That's 95% of your post history.
Hell, your very first post here was about A&M.

Who cares if he did it or didn't do it?
What is this, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood or college football?
What matters is whether or not he'll get away with it. Right now it seems likely that he will.
Prepare your anus.

According to these guys, it has been 15 years since the NCAA made someone forfeit a game. Interestingly, that team was aTm.
The NCAA is out of the forfeit business. These days it is all about vacating wins.
