To bad your source is two years old. the guy on Mike and Mike even said there were multiple changes to NCAA rules on investigation after the Newton case.
You have a link that says that anonymous/confidential sources can be used to prove violations? No?

Aggies sure do watch a bunch of ESPN for a group that thinks all they do is fabricate and lie about stories.

Right dude. Doesn't matter what anyone here says. Y'all think b/c you follow the leaks on the story closely that you can prove you have any clue what's going on in the investigation. You don't. You'd have to work for the NCAA to know, yet Aggies are basking in the sun on the way to the slaughterhouse.
Stop being such an overdramatic woman. Good lord
No, A&M doesn't know the intricate details that haven't been released. However, we DO understand this situation better than the typical Bama/LSU fan who just sees what gets put out on ESPN and selectively read through press releases. It grows frustrating when people who THINK they know what they're talking about start throwing out "lack of institutional control" and other shite that has no bearing on anything here.
Additionally, if Manziel is suspended it wont be akin to going to the "slaughterhouse". We'll laugh at the NCAA double standard, spend a few days opining our loss and then move on with what should be a pretty solid team anyway that, given our weak schedule, could still go 10-3 or so.

Where was he wrong?
It wasn't an arse kicking (Bama outgained you, for example). Bama wasn't lucky to hold you under 50 (only 1 team has even broken 30 against Bama the last 4 years and A&M wasn't it). I could go on.
Bama came out flat, A&M exploited that with a great game plan and jumped out to a 20 point lead before the end of the 1st quarter. Aided by a +3 advantage in the turnover department A&M took it to Bama in ways that few teams can claim. Even after that, Bama settled in and twice had opportunities to win the game. I don't see how you can claim an "arse kicking" when the other team has 1st and goal from the 6 late in the 4th quarter with a chance to beat you.

Good non response. My source is the guy that was an official of the NCAA. if you find his contact info you can contact him if you like. I could honestly care less. just saying a former official of the NCAA was adamant about anonymous sources being legit.

BULL shite - the NCAA cleared Bama's textbook players to play, ruled them eligible. Bama played 'em and damned if the NCAA didn't come back and sanction & penalize Bama for playing ineligible players and forfeited the games those players played in.......

Punted twice = arse kicking.

There was no way the NCAA could let a person (especially a family member) represent a student-athlete and shop around for the highest bidder. The whole "I didn't know" regarding Cam/Cecil could not be ignored and the NCAA knew it couldn't let that happen again.
Now, does Uncle Nate fall under the Cecil Newton loophole? Did Uncle Nate try to work a deal with the autograph brokers? Did Uncle Nate, acting as JM's personal assistant organize and manage the signing sessions like he organized and managed the bodyguards for JM?

Do you work for ESPN? I believe they are looking for people that talk out of their arse behind "unnamed sources"

Go watch Mike and Mike and you will shut up really quick about the sources.

Oh you mean this guy Darren Rovell
The guy who got fooled into writing a story on an escort business for NBA players based on a high school seniors emails? That's the brilliant journalist who busted this story.

An Aggie calling out other fans for being crazy. have you been to TexAgs?

Mike and Mike is pretty weak as far as sports talk radio goes. I'd much rather listen to Dan Patrick, the Ticket, etc.

• Former NCAA enforcement director Mark Jones comments on how the investigation of Johnny Manziel has been handled, Manziel's future and more.
I'll take his word on sources and an investigation since he specifically worked in the enforcement sector.

The latest ESPN article claiming 2 additional sources has completely disappeared from the front page...I wonder why.

The first person to report this story last week (and one of the major ones continuing to perpetuate it) was tricked into reporting a national story by emails from high schoolers, has been sued for libel and was almost kicked out of Northwestern for academic dishonesty.
Yeah, that guy...

Considering A&M missed an XP (rare), a chip shot field goal (less rare, but still a high percentage kick in college), and forfeited the opportunity to kick another XP (that would have broken 30) in lieu of a 2pt conversion attempt, I'd say y'all were very lucky, actually.

First of all, because A&M was straight up punking the run game and daring Bama to beat us passing (which y'all failed to do). To put it bluntly, we weren't scared.
Secondly, it was a chance to take the lead, not beat us. A&M had JUST taken all of two plays to score a touchdown on the previous possession. Plenty of time would have remained even if y'all had scored.
